Accessories (Equipment)

As I was pvping with no gear on, I was hit full damage basically. When I put only my accessories on, my defence went up a lot against noobs. This gives me the idea that it boosts my defence, but can someone explain in detail what the numbers mean and what benefits accessories have?

if i remember correctly the numbers are the % it absorbs so you have 4 that are lets say 10 each.
it will go like this
you take dmg
ring1 takes away 10% of dmg
ring2 takes away 10% of the dmg left over by ring1
necklace takes away 10% of the dmg left over by ring2
earrings take away 10% of the dmg left over by necklace
i know it works something like this but i'm not sure if i'm 100% correct.

yah its true, its a step down damnage..etc absorption rate via percentage so yah hes right

Does that mean that we should treat accessories as equal to gear? Because its not as if I don't care about it, but I never give much thought to my accessories

Yeah if u have a sun +7 accessory with great whites and full blues then u absorb a huge amount of damage and have a small chance of catching an abnormal status(that can be pilled off with normal pills) without buffs.
Accessory should be treated with respect.

They don't make a huge difference at lower lvs but at higher lvs ppl will hit more so u will absorb more.

Depends, I'd take a sun chest over sun ring but no way I'd give up a sun neck or earrings for gear.
