Me and other ppl have tested it out before. Certain mobs do give a higher percentage of dropping sox items. I know some ppl think it's random, but it's not. We had 10-12 parties grinding in rotations. Some spot didn't get a single drop, but other spot, there was an sox drop like every 2 weeks. It's been going on for awhile now since 10d cap.

There, i told ya'll my secret about how i got like 5 sox's in a month. Thought I'd share that before it goes around to the other community in sro.

So SOx drops are confined to within certain grinding areas of the game?...I find that hard to swallow when people I know grind an area for months and only got like 1 SOx drop. Not 1 SOx every 2-3 weeks...

I'm just sharing. If you think it's BS you can just ignore it. I figure something's up when I grind at 95 mobs and found 1 som and 3 sos, i leave to go to 99 and my friend takes over and she found 2 sos there. She left and now someone else in the union just found a som recently.

It might be slightly random with certain mobs or spots having slightly better rates.

Can't be spawn cuz the 95 spot i was at had average spawn, nothing high. Usually only 2-3 pt mobs at once.

No one will be able to confirm this anyways.
But i have noticed something similar - my guildmates were making a party at 94 or 95 mobs, i don't remember exactly where, and they got like 2 sos and 1 som in 1 week. Back at 90 cap other friends of mine were plvling their new char 24/7 at antinokes, they got the first 9d sun there and after that like 2-3 more sox items. So there may be is something. And maybe it has to do also with the level of the party, but that's another complicated theory that i just don't have the patience to write right now

I believe it, this is the same thing that people did when sun farming first became popular back at 80 cap, I remember Qiao and one other on Troy quickly figured out the areas that sun dropped and just farmed there for months at a time until they each had multiple sun sets.

The spot shouldnt have anything to do with it, just maybe mob, so are you saying different mobs higher rates or different spots same mobs higher rates?

Not trying to flame or anything but I don't REALLY get the meaning of this thread. You're telling us that some spots give more sox drops than others and the title is: "Treid and true, thought I'd let the legit community KNOW! 1st". But where did you tell at which spots it was ?

It is true. me and my guild are on a few pty spots close to each other, and we had about 6 Seal of Nova drops already.

There is something. At 90 cap I droped 3 suns 9deg, my friend 4-5 and other guy from alliance 2 suns at same spot. At 100cap I droped som and he droped 3 sos, again same spot.
So, who knows..
