I'm a SRO veteran, I started back in early 2006 in Oasis, was in Persia for a while, and everything was fine. Successful logins, Low bot count, active jobbing, many parties. Then obviously; we all know the game eventually collapsed under its own weight due to Joymax's greed.

But I'm sure you have heard this dozens of times already from many players, so I won't rant about how broken the game is. The bottom line here is I believe it was the best MMORPG I have played. So much that I have been periodically checking back with the community for a chance to get just a little bit of that old-game experience back.

After checking Rev6 the past few days I have found that the server Iris appears to almost never be full, not to mention I have heard some good things about the community there. On the other hand I have heard their is a decent sized population of english-speaking players on the VIP-Ocean server is CSRO. So what shall it be? Is Iris going to at least a small community of legits in it? Maybe a little jobbing?

Not sure about Ocean-VIP anymore, but for Iris it is good atm, they are making a new legit community there. But you never know what will happen when the goldbots return, people might get tired of waiting for hours and quit. I would vote for Iris though

Thanks for the response Ownage. I hope it really is decent. Gold bots are the spawn of Satan lol, but they are actually banning IPs now i believe

To answer your question; Not IPs, just account ban for 100 years

You want to go back to the extreme grind? Grinding to 70 was pretty bad, but now? Grinding to 105? Come on. It will take you years. This game has no content what-so-ever. What you remember as being a good game was probably because the game was new and you had "a lot" (more grind) to look forward to. Leveling was somewhat fast below 30 (after that, everybody used bots or gold tickets). So you could actually get that new armor and weapon in a few days or so. Now you can do maybe 1% in 3 hours of constant grind. Then you get one-hit by a euro. GG.

Wrong wrong wrong, a game can be fun without reaching the top. It depends on what the player thinks and their playing style. Also my friend just hit 91 yesterday, now he's over 30% just from going to medusa uniques with his friends... and you're saying it's hard after 30, if it's hard after 30 it ain't the right game for you.

Its not all about reaching the cap, at least not for me. I have so much fun talking with the union guys and killing those bastards I meet in CTF. You can still have fun without being lvl 110

What a load of crap.

There is nothing but grind in this game. So thats all people do. U cant progress without grinding.

joymax need to do something bout higher levels killing people 20~30levels under them and make like level areas where people can teleport into for free!!! and pvp people 5~10levels in level
