Well i made a wizard and so far i got a plvled to 48 and now i wanna start handgrinding it but i keep dying. Im lvl 48 and im at spiders i also have the skill recovery divison. So how do i hand grind a wizard?

I am lvl 24 wizzard/bard and i search for people to party with , and i go to mobs of my lvl , if i can't find a party , i go at mobs with 10 lvls lower so Giant won't own me .

Don't get hit. Avoid giants unless you have zerk and bless.

if you have a good party of your own level go like 4/5 levels higher,if solo'ing go like 3 levels lower.. would't be a problem...
offcourse youll die a couple times but you have to take that for granted if u choose a wizzard

I'm a wizard and I can tank and kill 99 party giants without bless and party buffs lol. Playing a wizard is pretty easy especially if you have cleric as your sub. Don't use life turnover while grinding, make sure you have a decent set even at low levels, if you can't tank giants well switch to cleric put bless up and give yourself healing cycle then switch back to wizard, knock back light nuke is your best friend when you get ganged or your hp is going down too fast.

If you are going to start a wizard then instead of getting plvled you should handgrind so you can get used to it and actually know how to use your skills....

Unless your gear is shit, I dont' see how you can be having trouble grinding by hand. It's pretty easy to know when to run and when to press 123...

Just as you grind any char( except warlock maybe). And if you die too much buy better gear or go to lower lvl monsters..

find a buddy or two and (warrior would be good) and grind together, he can tank/lure for you and u will just have to do all the dmg...

Go to mobs you can 1hit without LC on and you'll be fine, get the best gear you can buy for your lvl.

I'll try and give some decent thoughts, as I've had a level 50 wizard.
Firstly, you can use life control if you really need it for the damage.
Secondly, don't get hit. You know how easy it is to die, especially with the pot delay and with life control.
Thirdly, try hard not to hunt aggressive monsters. Aggressive monsters = more chance of getting hit = higher chance of death.
Also, vigors are helpful. Stay away from champions and giants unless you are CERTAIN you can kill them.
You shouldn't be worrying too much about gear until 6D onwards.
I also can't stress the point...stay alert for attacking monsters, and don't use AoE spells too often unless you are CERTAIN you can kill all the mobs without them touching you. A crit and your dead.

You should be able to kill the mobs only using fire bolt and ice bolt. No AoE, no unwanted mobs attacking.
Also, train in a place that has lower spawn rate, but not too low so u will need to run less.
And if you got a pickup pet then the dying chances should be smaller too, cuz u don't have to risk going to pick up the stuff and getting attacked.

Click on the monster you want, press the button to the desired skill. Wait.. Bom. And the monster is dead. Repeat.

wizard is the easiest to go solo and be legit and lvl far the fastest. you just attack monsters 4-5 lvls lower than you. you still kill them fast so your lvling is fast

I just figure out your avy xD

add int and str to your gear at all levels

fire nuke > ice nuke > fire nuke > ice nuke.
If you get attacked by a giant/party mob, switch to cleric rod > healing circle > back to staff > lightning kb > lvl 20 ice nuke > fire/ice nuke > use fear if you have it leveled.

not rocket science.

ice bolt for a chance to frost/freeze the mob and fire bolt to finish it off. move to next mob.

When things are getting outta control, switch to cleric rod, cast bless spell and healing cycle, then back to staff and kill.
And always keep the recovery division on. Also, when things get bad, heal urself too after casting bless spell and healing cycle if u need.

for soloing giants. fight only with a full zerk and use fear on the giant. then zerk the giant and you should bring its hp close to 50% by time fear wears off. next either bind it or knock it back and use only ice attacks and earthquake attacks to freeze and null it. the earth fence will allow you to tank a giant for a few seconds. it helps to have a pet to tank the giant if fear or bind doesnt give its effect.
