Serious word

Post by vanom1 »

Alright folks, obviously iSRO is about to enter the lvl 110 cap as the next step. Just a few days ago, everyone assumed that the cap would be lvl 105, giving everybody some time to breathe and gather exp and sp in a decent manner. Since we now know that the cap will be lvl 110 along with entering restrictions concerning the new grindng area, I'm really thinking of quitting the game. I've been playing iSRO since april 2006 and yea, it's still fun. But facing the tremendous amount of sp (just don't consider exp yet), I really don't know how to manage. I mean, I needed about 5 month to get FF at lvl 90 and I'm not FF at the current cap and still lvl 99. I have no idea how to get to lvl 110 and fully farmed! Even if you bot (now don't say I bot, I'm just calculating) 24/7, it will take like half a year. How should a legit achieve this goal? What is the purpose and fun of this game, if you have to spend that much time before you can play a game.

What is the opinion of your people?

Who cares if you never reach cap? As long as it is still fun for you when you log in, play it.

$1=10k SP
$10= 100k Sp
$100= 1mil SP

that would the best gift ever :palm:

considering that some builds need ~4mil Sp
star new char, don't farm pay $400 T_T

Don't worry about the cap. Doing that is discouraging. Besides there are people at lower levels than you. You are lucky to be level 99. Find a group of fun people to play the game with and as time pass by you won't notice the grind.

That is sorta outrageous. That idea is designed to prolong the addiction. Besides grinding still isn't all that fast with a 0 gap when you are at lvl 100+.

this game was fun during the 60-70 caps and 80 kinda pushing it, now is unplayable as it has unrealistic goals for any real player or any1 with an actual healthy life, gg sro idk what is there to discuss.

I Quit because It's hard to NOT have a life and Be Legit even. I played almost everyday and I only got to 83 without being Hardly farmed at all. Bots Ruined it. Joymax continues to Ruin it with it's impossible rates.

SRO's entire revenue rely on the outrageously high demand it places on your time in pursuit of reaching the caps to fully enjoy the game. The game is designed to be that way and it wont change. Its how they make their money. The more time you have to spend playing means the more you are inclined to use their item mall. From the player's perspective that's this game's major flaw. From Joymax perspective that's the game's major source of success. Either way it's the sole reason why so many problems exist. TIME

For me, it wasn't that difficult to level a wiz ff to 100. And yes I'm completely legit (in before the "omg u liar u bot blah blah" comment). Well my wiz skills are ff but cleric stays at 96 (there's really nothing to increase in cleric skills in 100 anyway). When 10d cap came out, I was lvl 85 ff. My bf was lvl 90 ff. My guild was the very first guild to try Medusa run. For some reason nobody ever tried for the uniques and this was the downfall for a lot of people needing exp/sp. There were just normally 5 of us who go for the medusa run (our guild was really inactive save for 10 of us I think :P). Yes, we don't get to kill the medusa but we were strong enough to kill the rest of the uniques and sometimes either the other lvl 100 one or the 4x95 uniques. By the time I reached lvl 90, few people started going to medusa run and I never stopped going. 2x a day with prem gold with only either 1-2 pt in medusa run = 20k+ sp per day. I never stopped going to medusa runs until I reached lvl 100. So as long as I go for unique runs, we never had to handgrind.

Now for the lvl 110. Same solution. The dungeon lets you go back twice a day (more if you buy prems). Party up with someone or up to 8 people. The dungeons I believe have more than 1 unique there. Kinda like medusa runs except without the big main boss I think (correct me if I'm wrong to those who have played ksro). If you do that even twice a day you'll pretty much ff by 3 months at least. Already with my guild we were planning a party for that dungeon :P We're pretty much set on who will go. And the dungeon has 3 levels. Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced. So even at lvl 110 and you're needing to farm sp, you can choose Advance. Either go with just one person with you for more sp or go with party. Simple solution
