Major issues I already see with this update.

1) The times when the dungeon actually opens...
2) Botters reach 100, now they have to grind by hand... I sense a drop in players...
3) Anyone under 95, or was it 90, can't even get to the new city for screenshot and running around sake...
4) Wearing Job suit to gain access to TEMPLE = fail. Everyone will just end up as 1 job. Jobbing will die as a result.

I'll add more as I think of them.

Why is number 2 a problem? Bots don't bring fun to social aspect of the game. Most of the time they are AFK. Unless you're a botter that's a big improvement. Number 3 is trivial. Players will eventually get to the required level

In case you didn't know, botters make up most of the population. If they all left, game would just be restarted pretty much.

Everyone can eventually reach 90 or 100 or 110 by hand or count all the grains of sand in the world, doesn't mean it's a good investment of your time or worth the effort.

1 and 4 are the biggest problems. 2 and 3 are minor, i just mentioned them since half my union are now spamming lvl 100 for sale in global.

They are always open - you can just only enter twice per day without premium
2) Botters reach 100, now they have to grind by hand... I sense a drop in players...
They don't have to grind by hand, not at all. They will find a way to lvl no matter what - just wait and see. And also, It would be lovely if there would come a drop in players who bot then there is more spot for us legits.
3) Anyone under 95, or was it 90, can't even get to the new city for screenshot and running around sake...
Anyone under lvl 95 but well... what can they do there anyway? Getting screenshots, true. But why would they want screenshots? There will be/are already hundreds of videos showing the city etc.
4) Wearing Job suit to gain access to TEMPLE = fail. Everyone will just end up as 1 job. Jobbing will die as a result.
Why would everyone end up as 1 job? Don't you think that people that hate each other will take different jobs? Silkroad is a game of hate and everybody wants to show that they're the best and therefore I think that it will rather make the job wars even more intense.

I'll add more as I think of them.

If that's the case, people better think twice before start to bot. Deal with the consequence.
If they don't want a game to be ruined, then don't bot.

Botters at lv100 have enough other areas to grind in without going to the Temple to die when botting. Also there are enought high mobs outside Temple.

I completely disagree with all of your points. All of them have more positives than negatives (apart from 1 which i dont think is even true?).

Open 24/7, so I don't think you know what you are talking about here

2) Botters reach 100, now they have to grind by hand... I sense a drop in players...
If you are so worried about the bots, dont worry, THEY CAN BOT OUTSIDE THE TEMPLE
And BTW, do you see bots quitting because they can't bot at Medusa? No

3) Anyone under 95, or was it 90, can't even get to the new city for screenshot and running around sake...
Thats a good thing... there will be no goldspammers. Lower levels can look at videos and pics of the new city online. Nothing they need to level up is in this city anyway

4) Wearing Job suit to gain access to TEMPLE = fail. Everyone will just end up as 1 job. Jobbing will die as a result.
Look at the jobbing now... how can it DIE? Forcing ppl to wear their job suits will bring life back to jobbing as well as allow you to kill bots who are wearing the opposite job suit

I'll add more as I think of them.

I think you misunderstood the function of the Pharaon's Tomb. That cave allows players for have fun grinding in party, do interesting quests and feel the teamplay at 100%. But there are alternatives for grind to level 100 than the tomb. Normal monsters outside of the cave are until level 109. This mean bots still can make scripts for go to the new training places normally.

If anyone don't get my point, this image explains all:

Eh, I doubt people will join different jobs just to prove they're better. On my server, whenever the big unions decide to go with one job, you notice everyone shifting towards the same job to prevent getting owned.

I didn't know about the outside grind area.

And if the temple is always opened, why does it say open at 0 and 12 on the teaser?

If I remember correctly, you got to wait some days in order to change to a new job, right? Beside, if anyone is level 4-5 job, he wouldn't change his job and be a level 0 job again, that's plain stupid

Joymax stated themselves at the official homepage that it will be open all the time but you can only join two times per day.

About the whole jobbing thing, which server are you playing at? That server must be full of wanna-be noobs :P (no offense) Don't get me wrong but..... at the other servers I've been playing at, if the big union join for example thieving, the second largest unions will switch to Hunter, just to prove that they're better than the other union.

Isn't it like that at your server too?

Thread started should have read the teaser site lol.. clearly states party play dungeon is open 24hrs but entry is limited to 2 times.. prem plus users get 3 more entries but that imo is unfair but then again this game is designed to benefit people who buy silk. About the jobbing part in Pacific there is a fair amount of both hunters and thieves and both groups hate each other... so this temple thing is something I am looking forward too.

1. Don't guess
2. Don't think
3. See the consequence with your own eyes. If it's good then you'll see it's good. Else, you'll see it's bad.

Anyone have any real information of job suit in the dungeon? If not then I'm guessing it's just lost in translation.

My question is, why are you so worried about a bot being able to bot?

The whole drop in players excuse is typical.

2) How is this a problem? Botters don't belong in the game anyway. So if they have to quit as a result of this update, that's awesome!

3) I guess it'd be nice to check out the new city, but it's not the end of the world.

4) Why would everyone have to be the same job? Isn't it just the fact that you are wearing a job suit that matters?

well lets be honest here, and depending on sro average age population, anyone with university or job wouldnt be able to ever reach that cap, unless hes that guy from southpark..

they raise cap by 10, and they assume that if the new cap is 110 now, it automatically makes it so easy to get to 100, but just getting to 90-100 is insane, for anyone with healthy life.

i will be the first to say, if things get desperate i might get a bot, after all not all ppl enjoy the same things, i for one enjoy competitive game, where SRO is pretty much an open area to do what ever you want, its still more enjoyable when u can partake in things outside of your ingame social bubble (basically your guild & friends), and wont have to be afraid of not succeeding because you play with the big dogs (the rest of the server).

besides the above point, i also wouldnt want to waste the time and effort i put in this game, just to quit because i wouldn't go againt my morals. just face it, the game is so ridiculously good that we all got hooked (earlier caps), and by now for all we know, the company is split into 2 sides, we got the designers that make great mobs, uniques, weapons etc and we have the executives that spend time thinkin how to make more profit (ie SP/EXP requirements etc).

i read and understand alot of posters on these forums, anyone with decent mind can instantly spot a botter post, legit post or a grumpy retired sro player post. SRF is not what it used to be, we can have discussions as openly as we want, but most ppl ask a bot related question (as subtle as they can) and are getting a legit related answer, which is double faced and very unproductive for both parties and this forum.

to honour what these forums once stood for, most ppl, if not all wont be discussing botting freely, but they would rather disappear and just lurk around.

I wish all a good luck, but this game just hit a new lvl of demand, and with that the amount of weird threads/convo will just get bigger, so before we get into this, lets just lay things on the table and see where it takes us. atleast my conscious will be clean.

How is it unfair that players who pay cash for this game get more benefits than players who pay nothing?

Although I suppose it would be more fair if they gave 3 extra entries to players who buy more than XX amount of silk in a given month. Why does it have to be specifically premium users? Not that I buy silk, but if I spend $300 a month on non-premium items like gold/silver tickets, globals, transports, pets, why shouldn't I get preferential treatment like premium users do?

Not to mention... 3 extra times means 5 times total per day... and each time you're allowed to go in for 2 hours. That's 10 hours of grind time, which is pretty crazy O_O. Then again, maybe I'm reading it wrong and you don't need to spend 2 hrs to finish that temple thing.

I agree with you but people who play without buying silk/premiums will whine about this issue and after all this is supposed to be a free to play game... and getting extra entry into a part of the game does seem a bit unfair. But yea getting to 110 will be a hard job but not impossible.. I was going to university and managed to hit 100 by going to b5 uniques once every day and it was really good xp.. and with all these new uniques in both the temple and tomb I don't think it should be possible for non-botters to get near 110

I don't quite agree on this one. As you, I don't buy premium BUT I still think that its fair.
I get your point about people who purchase transport, pets, globals etc. But then again....

At least I guess we can agree that its enough that players who actually pay to play this so called "free game", gets some extra benefits, right ?

the whole "its a free game" arguement is bullshit. if you dont pay you shouldnt get the same benifits that i do. It says free to PLAY. It doesn’t say fair for all. Life isnt fair, get over it. Those who pay for this game keep it running and are paying for everone else who doesn’t pay. Fuck every single non silk buyer who complains about this game, fuck them square in their asses. It’s a free to play game, don’t play if you don’t like it. I pay, there fore I expect a little more, and I deserve it.
