Oh well done for pointing out the obvious.
You can murder people in real life....
But you might end up in jail.
So, your point is?

My point is, using your comparison, you can murder people in a country without police nor law.

When does people relise one thing? If you don't like the game Leave it! Botting makes everything worse for everyone. And as many people in iris has been saying, it Joymax's fault, they allow botting -.-' Its not their fault, its the player itself who chosed to bot.
But what does this have doing with the topic anyway... (Goes to bed)

Either you people have bad reading skills or you're plain idiots.
What he meant by saying that is that you always have the liberty to bot if you want, there is nothing stopping you from it (since HackShield has already been cracked), but that it is illegal and that the GMs WILL maintain their rules and ban any account caught botting.
Its basically like saying You can steal at a store, since there is nothing physically stopping you from doing it, but that there will be grave repercussions for doing it.

but why SRF so uptight with bot's even if GM said use it at your own risk? Sounds to me as its your choice...
If i want to use marihuana its my choice, same thing here.

Who said we don't like it? I love it! My favourite game ever, I'm not here for say Silkroad sucks or Joymax is gay like other 3 years old kids, I'm here for show the pic of RBG and see what the people think about it.

Finally someone with the head over the shoulders. That's my point, you can bot, but assume risks.

Are we supposed to read the whole message or just the first 3 words on the notice line where the arrow points?

It seems like RGB and a bunch of other idiots are just reading the first 3 words.

Ofc its at your own risk, where the **** did you want to come with this topic? Sure, go ahead and bot but you'll face the consequences sooner or later. Like those people the GM found now. Seems like Joymax is getting serious.

RGB told me to response (his account is banned here):
"But the government doesnt say you can murder people do they? No, they dont. "
Alfred wrote:Are we supposed to read the whole message or just the first 3 words on the notice line where the arrow points?
As you like, but the arrow marks the important thing on the image, not the only thing you must read.

He didn't said the same. You said we can't because you can end on the jail, and he said it can have repercussions, but maybe not. Well maybe I didn't understand him well, nvm.
I'm not here for fight about it, I just wanna know what the people think about it.
HejsaN wrote:Ofc its at your own risk, where the **** did you want to come with this topic? Sure, go ahead and bot but you'll face the consequences sooner or later. Like those people the GM found now. Seems like Joymax is getting serious.
He allow us to bot, and even gave us some bot names.
IMO that's what they wanna say:
"Hey guys, remember bot is against the rules, don't use bots like *blah bots*, but if you use, take care and assume the risks, you MAY will get banned"

That's what I wanted to say. If GM's are the police on Silkroad, and they are the only ones who can apply the law, what happen if there are gone? Same as a country without police. And no police = no law. Explained better?

@kaperucito
I dont really think you understood what he meant with that line. He never said that it was allowed to bot, he said that you can bot. It's a big difference. I can bot in every game if I want, but just because I can doesnt mean that it's allowed. And I dont think he really advertised for the bot companies. Hopefully you didn't either.

When you say it like that you only point out what's been going on for the past 4 years >_> You're left with the morally correct (legit) and the rest..Nothing changes in Sro.

Like anythings ever gonna change. Joymax already tolerates botters. All this GM statement does is provide some of the stupid botters like RGB a justification for their actions, as if it's not obvious enough for them all these years. Look how happy they jump at it.
And LOL @RGB. Looks like he still QQs after a year. Hating on a forum? How sad can these people be...

when will people like you get it into their thick skulls
that srf is NOT sro. srsly everyone who really really wants
us to think botting is ok just pm me or raise your hand so
i can press the button ok. either that or just piss off.
since gm's comment is totally obvious; you can do anything
against the rules anywhere as long as you dont get caught,
