Hello. Recently i have stopped working in order to concentrate on my senior year in high school, and i do not have any sort of card anymore to buy myself a monthly Premium, which is extremely important in order to log in on my server, Aege.

I have thought about how i could continue buying Silk, and the only way i can think of is through a PayPal account.

That is why i came here to ask a few questions about how it works since i have never used it before.

First of all, do i need any sort of debit/credit card in order to subscribe to it?

Secondly, once i am subscribed, what are the best ways to earn money on my account, not involving cell phone/credit and debit cards? I know that one of the most common ways is to view advertisements. Can someone point me out to a good site to do that?

Lastly, are PayPal transactions 100% safe with Joymax? The last thing that i want is for my account to get banned because of a miscommunication of some sort.

If you don't play this game anymore, get out of GD. I'd like to see you log-in on Xian, its madness nowadays. Last time i tried to connect without a Premium, it took me roughly 4-5 hours before i quit on it and decided to wait till inspection to log-in and buy a Premium. Some of us are lucky enough to not get spoiled by our parents to the point of running our computers 24/7 in order to always stay connected, so YES a Premium IS a must for us.

1. You don't need a card to subscribe to PayPal, as far as i know of.

2. You can view advertisements/answer to surveys on various sites (i don't know any since i never used them). Make sure to create a throwaway E-Mail account though since the majority of those sites will ask for it in order to send you all sorts of useless spam.

wow, just because he doesn't play the game anymore doesn't mean hes a useless human being and has no right here. their are plenty of people here who have stopped playing and are still helpful to users in this community.

OT: you dont need a credit card to make a paypal account. you can view advertisements to earn money but i dont know any sites for that, and as mentioned above, get a new email for all the spam your gonna get. as far as i know its 100% safe to use paypal with joymax. as long as you dont charge back your account wont be banned.

I wasn't talking about EVERY single retired member, i was talking about the user that i quoted in particular, since all i have seen from him/her so far was smartass comments/random gibberish.

You dont need a card to make a paypal...but im pretty sure you need some kind of card info IE debit/credit card number linked to a bank account to purchase stuff online like silk...Im not positive though...so if someone that knows more about paypal and w.e could clear it up...I may just be remembering wrong because I remember having to link my bank account to my paypal.

Setting up an account is easy. I know in the past you could even register pre paid debit cards with them. Just make sure you register the card on the cards official site first (your name, address, etc) cuz that is how they sync it.

If your main concern is just getting in the server get a $15 silver premium. Don't bother with the gold.

At topic starter yea papyal is safe only few ppl get banned cuz of micomunication or like security checks

From the way your post is written you seem to be under the impression that Paypal is some sort of way to earn money like all those survey scams. It is not.

To buy silk with Paypal you require a credit or debit card or somebody to send you money to your PayPal account which is like an online Bank Account.

Lastly, you do not need to "subscribe". Anybody can join PayPal but AFAIK you require a Credit/Debit Card or Bank account when you join.

yep thats what I had to do...when you go to buy silk they have to know that the account your paying from is actually legit and so they need card info etc...

Theres an alternative you could use. 'Ultimategamecard' a PayByCash method which I personally used. They we're at my local 7-11/GameStop for me so I just bought these.

I have PP with linked credit card. With linked CC your PP acc cant be limited, and u can send and recieve any amount of money. I will describe how i get verified PP. (US PayPal)


1.Make mail for PP
2.Register on

(Dont use fake personal data)
3.When u log in your new PayPal acc, press "Add Credit Card" ( u need to have 1.95$ on CC)
4.Press "Verify" (PP will charge u 1.95$ and u will get that back when u enter 4-digit code)
5.Go to your bank and ask them for list of transaction for last month. Then search for that PayPal transaction. You will see 4-digit code and put that code in your PP acc.
6.Voila, u have legit, verified PayPal acc.

If u dont have CC u can try with VCC (Virtual Credit Card) *i think that is legal*? (if not mods delete )

Oh yea if u are from USA u will dont have any problems with account just dont use proxy
And PayPal transactions with Silkroad are safe. Just dont make chargeback or your SRO acc wull be banned. And dont attach and purchase anything with card that u not own. (except your mom's, dad's card )
