Yes, its in the wrong section, i posted in Q&A but i dont think ill ever get the ansvers i need there.

So currently im lvling a 5:1 hybrid str blader, my build is going to be 100 fire bicheon cold, and the problem is, my dmg is pretty low, my main question is, which one should do more damage (in theory), a full str blader with a simillar build, or a 5:1 fire cold blader (without light)?
i always liked bladers, but cuz ecsro has no status effects, its really hard to kill others without them, thats why i thought i should go hybrid, and i calculated that my phy def would be way higher than a full str light blader (cuz of cold), but now im considering, should i take light to a specific level.

Normal hits should be stronger, and it shouldn't affect the crits too much. Hybrid blader sounds stronger. I doubt with the little int you're adding having mag attk increase by 10% will do much.

Crits will suck, believe it or not. Bladers need crits to kill, especially without debuffs so IMO it's not a smart idea to go hybrid.

really? I always thought the dmg diff between a hybrid str vs a pure str was barely noticeable due to gear. Like 30k vs 29.7k or something small like that.

At least that was the impression I got from reading guides by Nicole on Rev6.

yes i know bladers need crits to kill i had a lvl74 full str blader myself, so i know that, but crits doesnt happen so often, and if my hits without crits would be higher, that would lead to more dmg output

You talking about hp? cuz a 300 hp diff is not even 1 lvl hybrid lol o.O

^ well i had 72+7 11 crit iirc blade, but still, crits didnt happen so often like i'd like. anyhow, ill see the difference when ill make my hybrid 7x +, ill compare my old blader with it.

No, like dmg output. I was under the impression that a crit from a pure str will be harder, but not so much that the normal hits won't make up for it. Like when you take into account the increase in dmg from % balance and the imbue's dmg. I remember it was like pure str had 30k crit and like 9k normal hit vs 27k crit and 13k normal hits of a hybrid. The dmg from having the extra int made the normal dmg hits much harder and balanced the weaker crit.

i play a hybrid dual wep blade/glavie on fembria and have faced a few pure strs my lvl. i have noticed that with my blade skills i do a lot more dmg with my basic hits then they do to me. crits are the same almost and even then its still a draw. my build is a 90% str (i think thats the same build your thinking) i do have problems tanking with my glavie out (due to my only 3 blued pieces) but with my shield out it takes a lot.

i honestly was thinking of delvling glavie for ice but then i would lose the fun of dual wep. anyways i recommend the hybrid str build

imo hybrid bladers are underrated, since not many peaole has this kind of build, they think its bad, thats the same like saying all hybrids sucks.

well depends on how you look at your build, bladers are supposed to tank, they werent made for 1v1....

1 blader tanks vs 2
2 bladers win vs 2
3 bladers rape vs 4

because they can tank and together they are deadly :O

there is a damage formula out there, you could check the damage output if you want
you can also check HP, def at nivlam, etc...

where is that dmg formula? and i calculated my hp and def before i made this thread
