So I always knew the sp was insane in this game, today one of my friends hit 100. Him being nice and the sadistic ass he is, told me to log into his character and raise his skills ff from 99 to 100. I asked why. He said, I want you to see how much work you're gonna need to get ff.

So before I touch anything, he had around 370k sp remaining. After raising all the NECESSARY skills in both wiz and cleric from 99-100, he had 12k sp left....

I'm srry, but that just seems insane. 1 level used up that much sp... I don't think there's any chance of me becoming ff 100.... I thought there was since the char he gave me was ff 98. I figured only 2 levels to farm, can't be that bad. But after looking at this... I think I'm just gonna hit 98, than pvp until next cap, than quit. Just too much... just too much... I only get on for like 4 hours every other day... not a chance in hell.... I'd be ff 99 prob by the time next cap is out... and 100-105 will prob take like 1m sp...

Yes around these sp to be FF 100 to 105 i guess.
And yes it's insane but the game isn't build to be FF at all,if you see FF people it's because they bot or they had a sp farm at ong..

I know that, but the skills look kool! Yea some skill are just copy paste with slight tweak, heaven - thousand army, but 105-120 got some tight looking skills from what pk2 has shown. It's just kinda annoying how cheaters get to use these skills while all I can do is watch -_-. I should learn how to pk2... doesn't seem like I'm gonna be hitting cap ever....

I gapped a bit and went 80fire/20ice instead of 100 fire. Saved me 300k sp which was enough muhaha. But yeah it's all about the build.

It's not insane because you are not "suppose" to use more than 1 mastery as a Euro. The only reason they allow you to use two masteries is because they want to allow you to have a sense of "freedom" with the build. Same goes for Chinese as you are "suppose" to only have two masteries, not three.

But this is where bots and retards come in since this game is once again, "suppose" to be played as a team. Hence the reason each build supports the other and why you dont need another mastery if you are in a full active guild and pts.

The sp requirement is only insane because the game mechanics have been broken and no one knows how to play this game. It's not a solo game.

U're suppose to hav 2 for Euro.
Theres a reason y the mastery for euro is 0/2 at lvl 1. and at lvl 100 its XXX/200.
3 for Chinese.
Theres a reason y they raise the mastery cap to 330 during the release of 105/110 cap.

The SP requirement for this game is insane, no doubt about it.
From lvl 99 onwards basically every skill require more than 10k to lvl.
Lvling mastery itself from 99 to 100 takes 10k+

Maybe, but for playing style, euro's with 1 mastery and china with 2 would make it much more balanced. Euros would fail horribly at 1v1, no more cheap cleric sub. China would still be alright in 1v1, although they would actually be forced to go hybrid for dmg/hp sake. Win/Win imo.

ye thats how its been. i never plan on having a FF char neways..since the cap will go up soon. just plan for a 9 gapped char at 100 . as long as ur 100..even with 92 skills, you will do good dmg with a good weapon/set.

Pretty sure I could get around 500k sp in an month with 3 hour tickets on 99 mobs. In a party ofcourse, solo is an hell.

As an europe the grind ( hand grinding) is acceptable, hence legits favoring europe's so much.

You need to re-read my post again.

Just because you are given the ability to have more than 1 mastery doesnt mean you should. They have stated from the start that they gave you this option to bring a unique feel of freedom to your characters unlike other MMOs. Not only that, but from beta AND in the help manual it recommends 2 masteries for Chinese meaning that if you want to make an even more unique character by adding a 3rd mastery, the down side is the time it takes to achieve it. Same applies for Euros for 1 mastery being recommended.

So use your brain first please, it's not that hard son.

So explain to me what would you do in this game once you were ff 100? PVP every day for hours till next cap? Joymax knows the majority wouldn't. They would get bored and leave oops there goes revenue. No they make it insanely high so that your focused on getting farmed and not realizing that once you get there, there is no end game content. The end game content that there is, is the grind. I actually didn't have an issue with the grind it was not being able to find a spot to grind in peace on my Chinese glaiver that didnt have 5+ bots ksing me or a euro party where the other wizards weren't bots that slowed the killing down.

They did say the maxed mastery cap for chinese was 300, at that moment, chinese has a planned cap of lvl 150, which means 2 mastery.
However, its 105 for kSRO and 110 for other versions like now, mastery for chinese has been raised to 330.

You are simply nit picking and still do not see the point.

Considering you do not need every skill on a tree, your point is invalid. Also, 1 gap per mastery all the way to cap will make you fully farmed. I have NEVER had to farm later or before for a cap by using that method. 3 masteries is a waste and for people to have an excuse to use a 3rd party tool. Don't bullshit me sir, learn how to join a PT and turn off your robotnic.

We take 2 mastery...
Now u say we do not need to max all skill in the 2 trees...
Then u said 1 gap per mastery all the way to cap will FF ur char...
0 ~ 100 1 gap gives you about 440k SP..
Least SP required build is Bow/Fire with SELECTED SKILLS.
If you pick only the few essential skills, after completely leaving out 3 series in bow and 4 in fire, it still needs 880k SP...
Lighten me, which chinese build can u b FF with 500k SP at 100?

Also, chinese dont always gain advantage in a 8/8 PT..
For a Chinese pt to b better than a 4/4, it require atleast 6/8..

Even a Wizz with only Earth and Fire with SELECTED skills on Fire and Earth need 600k SP to b FF at 100.

U're the one who should use your brain. Go play your ECSRO.

also tell me this why do skills stop gaining as much at higher lvls? like for example light and the mag buff.

I would prefer 3 maxed trees.
Take Bich for eg, the stun came in last book.
Fire for eg, the nuke that gives the most damage is the last book.
Ice... last book...
If you want skills all over the place, its doable, but there will b 1 tree that u max for sure.

Instead of raising his skills, you should have converted all of his 370k SP to GP for his guild.

Does anyone have the balls to do that? How about with 1m SP?

Don't like the insane amounts of SP required? Delete Silkroad and and links that refer to it in any way. Problem solved.

Yes some do. My friend had a lock/cleric with over 2m sp. He had about 1.9m when he quit the game. He gave me the info, turns out some Ukraine person hacked it I guess since the character was in the guild, and the guild had exactly 1.9m gp from the lock and 30k gp from the owner.

its not about disliking the fish. they like the fish, its just difficult to acquire and prepare.
