How to End bots and make the game better

i think the reason that it is overrun by bots is the grinding system. By recomending these imrpovements, we can stop bots and make the game more challenging/fun.
1.lower the exp a lot when fighting monsters below your lvl, for example if you want to kill something 1 lvl below you you will barely get any exp. this will cause bots to not be able to bot because they always grind green mobs.
2. lower drop drop rate drastically or make it non existant when fighting mobs below your lvl. this is because even at ong taxis the plvlers get money from pt mobs and this will wipe out goldbots.
3. drastically increase the power of champions and giants, this will create the need for skill when grinding, something bots cant do.
4. increase the effectiveness of party play, exp or sp gain while in parties
5. allow solo aoeing, which requires skill and attention, but is very fast lvling.
6.make ltps more exp bonus, but maybe they spawn champions or giants
7.anything else to make solo w/o party and on lower lvl mobs impossible

Would suck if you were a solo euro eh.

uhh dunno about you, but i'm pretty sure lvl 100 wiz don't get drops or gold there

Have you ever paid attention to what you do when you grind. 123412341234 not really skills. Only time "skills" come into play is if you're out to ks with kd, only thing that prevents ppl from attacking.

Already in play, hence ppl re-made characters and became euros.
5. allow solo aoeing, which requires skill and attention, but is very fast lvling.
Nukes? Or what else did you have in mind???

wait... isn't LTP? long time parties? Isn't that code for bot grinding... thought it was back in 80 cap days. They do, party i'm in almost always has 1-2 party giant spawned.

Now I'm just confused.... :? First it's pro party 4, than pro solo 5

1.euros wouldnt solo
2.im talking about the lvl 60 wiz they fight lvl 3x but still get drops? thats rediculus.
3.theres a lot more to 123421321324, how about freeze,stun,knockback,debuff,kd,ice/fire wall etc
4. how about making it more effective, like party buffs,skills that make hand grinding 1000x more effective rthan botting?
5. no like real aoeing. luring 10-20 regular mobs and aoeing them all at once, maybe with a force healer or cleric.
6. well it should be for regular chinese soloing = =
7. pro solo, but aoeing or in a party ltp or fighting orange/red mobs

edit: it will work, there are games like silkroad that are dont have goldbots or grind bots.

All the games I've seen have cheaters, only they get banned, JM doesn't care.

A combination of increasing dmg of champ and giants would help if you reduce the drop lvl. After 3-5 lvls, drops and gold stops, but champs and giants hit like mobs 5-10 lvls stronger. Again though, this might make it too hard for a poor solo-er with little gold.

What server are you on. On old servers, I never see a lvl 60 wiz powerlvler anymore. It's all 100 wiz, bard, nuker, or blader. Really pointless. Unless you're in a union or guild that's always doing ong powerlvling, it's impossible to ong farm by yourself at ongs.

If party buffs were any more powered, it would be impossible for China to pvp. Those effects are just skills. I won't go into it, but grinding in chin tomb and trying to find a spot for my guildmates, they all use those skills. I even saw a party of 1 lvl 100 wiz, and 5 warrior/clerics buffing. Wiz could tank 2-3 99 pt giants... was like o_O

Why do people keep making these kinds of threads. It's not going to happen, JM won't do anything. This is like saying, "What would I do with a billion dollars..." It doesn't matter because you'll never get that much anyway.

If they would really want to fix it. Increase exp/sp rates and block all bots and you're done. The grind is insane, make it a bit easier and make sure there are no alternatives and you'll get more players.

As far as server population, crowded grinding spots, impossible to log in, etc... leveling bots aren't the problem. Gold bots are. Want to get rid of them? Stop buying gold! (not you specifically, but the gold buyers in general). Joymax needs to start banning some of these gold buyers.

It is a phase most ISRO players go through in which one pretends they are a Joymax employee or even head of the company.

When i was browsing internet i found Soul of the Ultimate Nation .
A quest based game , in 3 days only doing quest i reach lvl 72 . Max lvl of the game is 100 , but what is the good part . Killing mobs elite 5 lvls higher bring u 00,01 % xp . So that game is imposible to bot , hack . And iven if there was something for it u cannot use it because game is based on maps , every map 2,3 quests then next map , best game ever . If sro woud become a quest based , or a caravan lvl 2 trader , must be lvl 20 , lvl 3 trader must be lvl 50 bla bla it woud be answome . Till then i'll stick with my Soul of the Ultimate Nation :)

Only think I agree with is increase the exp per kill, cos that's why a lot of people bot, cos it takes too damn long to level up.

Totally. Maybe this is some sort of psychological thing. Someone could write their PhD thesis on this phenomenon.

If there is no loophole in arguments, how could I argue?

Would be nice if SRO was skilled oriented rather that level oriented...By that I mean it would be nice to grind only to level up your skills and not yourself. The more you use a particular skill the more experience and developed it gets. Your character being high leveled wouldn't mean a thing but rather how developed is it's skills.

Leveling up your character shouldn't be the issue. That should be easy..getting to level 100 should take like 1 month of casual play (2 weeks of hardcore playing). I feel thats how MMORPG should be designed. It makes more sense that way.

Yes true....Maybe your skills will get more developed while grinding mobs and gain little experience while pvping. PVPing indefinitely can get costly so I'm not sure someone would want to keep buying MP/HP pots for that.

One thing for sure you'd have a lot more people interacting with each other because they still can level up their skills from PVPing/Guild wars/Fort wars.

Then you better play another game rather silkroad.
And it's not so hard for a bot programmer to make 2 chars or even 50 chars pvp farm each other.

Fixing the botting problem is not your job or problem so who the fuck cares. Play another game if you dont like it.
