So I was on my friend's character doing his captain quest right, and i'm luring mobs. I notice that when using normal hits, the mobs would sometimes get frostbite o_O. I thought it was a glitch until after the quest and pvping, I gave my friend's frostbite by doing heaven chain, no imbue. So if Ice is maxed, does it give perm frostbite chance now???? Anyone else got this?

funny.. never noticed that..
i have maxed ice ibue on my char(lvl 95) but never saw him doing that on normal attacks

i dont get what your saying , i have ice maxxed also but have lightning maxxed also to..i dont give off frostbite with normal attacks no ice imbue..

If you were to start a chain with say... 0.2 milliseconds left in your imbue, it would count towards the entire chain, in contrast that it would not have the same effect with normal attack,

I have a blade character level 79, and I discovered that some of the chains really do give status's like burnt and frostbite WITHOUT the use of any imbue like a minute before using the chain... ~I like to mess around with people in pvp.
But cool story bro.

maybe that's working only with bicheon chains.. heuksal skills (including chains) doesn't give frostbite.

I got the same thing. Sometimes, even with nukes, I do imbue damaged attacks while I'm haven't used an imbue for the past minutes. It's like the game auto activates it o.o xD

Thing is though, the dmg is without imbue. I was messing with my wizzard friend, and if I had imbue on, he would be dead within the first 2-3 hits of heaven chain, but he lived through all 5 hits since I didn't use my imbue, but he still got frostbitten for a sec.
