Kool. Looked like fun, guess it wasn't handled by JM, as everything looks non-shitty. And people actually showed up. Be funny if someone set a bot to play for them.
Did you head my advice and flick off the CEO and take a SRF dump in his mouth for all of us?

LOL I wasn't able to get near him really.. ( incase you didn't know he is the dude in the 3rd picture)
everything was handled by joymax , the kid in the 8th picture is a GM for silkroad and everytime we went to lunch or dinner he would take out the joymax company card and pay for the tab
I was really surprised with how well they organized the event ,actually I just recently got a call from Dennis Winter , another GM for silkroad out of Irvine California , Joymax is going to be setting up an offline event for all the players in the irvine / los angeles area to gather with the current research & development team so they can get feedback on what some of the players want to see change with this game , thats going to be sometime next month but I already have tons of things written down to discuss with them

Hey .Awake., you should suggest that they up the mp usage for int builds of Euros. Like higher mp usage for bless and healing orbits, etc. Would help reduce the over-powerness of warrior/clerics. And reduce the number of retarded pure str clerics and bards out there. Annoying when my pt insists on letting the warrior cleric heal us when I know it's gonna be shitty heals with pauses every 5 secs to recover mp.

Kind of sucks that it was taxed so hard, but i think the experience was worth way more than the money, id be happy just to go on the trip
Btw, that guy that was 1st, he looks so familar, did he win last year too?

Awake what ever you do dont bring up bots as the first answer. LOL
If possible write down that you want to see some bugs in-game fixed and new events like CTF Arenas(BIGGER Area's). Improving the Trade system from its current state. Possibly a new UI makeover and graphic improvements to the game. Explain to them its been x amout of years update the graphics.
etc... They might actually listen to that which would make the game so much more interesting if its possible.

Any chance you can get the development team to see what concerns us players? I mean our written concerns...kinda like a list of what we do and don't like about SRO?...Would be nice if someone could draft up an online questionnaire and anyone who wants to fill one out does so and you give the results to your GM friend who's gonna be at this offline event in the irvine / los angeles area.
Also I'd like to know if you brought up the notion of how badly the game is being overrun by botting. I find it hard to believe that you went all the way to Korea for this event and never felt the urge to ask about the problems that plague the game. Tell us about the questions you asked. And the responses. Plss and thx

I think Joymax finaly starting to care about their players, very slowly, but its going better. if you read the official site they are gonna spawn GM's (gold name) in servers.

Every time someone says, "Joymax is starting to care about the game" i check back in a month and see that nothing has changed. I think for most people, after 6 years of them not giving a shit, its too late.

Talk to the GM, you'll see they're nothing but pansies.

when I was in korea, I did bring up a lot of issues that I thought were influencing the game, gold bots..player bots , lack of GM support , lack of customer service through the website,
they were really keen on improving, obviously they realize that you can't please everyone, and no matter what you do, there is going to be feedback on both sides of the spectrum whether you want to be positive about changes or stay on that bandwagon of " oh its been X amount of time without, so there is no chance of improvement "
however having a first hand experience with talking to them ( I only talked to the employee's who literally couldn't do anything else but tell us they will pass the suggestions on to the development team ( which is in KOREA ) I mean really, are we expecting them to bust out laptops , login and start banhammering? no, they are puppets where the strings are being held by someone else somewhere else..
but I did get a couple phone calls so far planning offline meetings and getting a chance to sit down with the developers, and all I can say at this moment is there will be changes and some of you wont even notice them when they happen, however the game is still very alive and the company is apt to make some changes.

I'm gonna laugh if the changes end up being a SRO sponsored bot you can buy in the item mall...
be like salt on the fresh wound.
