Greetings.
Well I've been searching on several forums about pure int builds. I've already decided that i'll be 100lightning/cold but I really don't know which WEAPON and ARMOR to pick.
Some people say that heuskal is the best, because of the higher magical damage, this sounds trivial, but in this case you have to pick armor or protector. Not sure about garment i guess it would be a suicide.
So i'm hasitating because i'd like to use garment, just because of the look. But in that case I should pick s/s i guess, but i'm not sure.
So to get to the point. Of course you cannot tell me which one to pick, but i'd like to here some opinions. My main idea was heuskal and armor, but s/s and garment would look better. Can someone who have already tried one of these builds reply please? I'm interested in both pvp and pve. Of course at the moment PvE is the most important thing for me. I'm just about to reach level 32. So i get my first nuke and my new weapon, so i change my build. I used that kinda 'guide' which tells you how to level up a pure int character. So I used the same build, which is lightning and pacheon, leveling only anti-devil bow and the lightning imbue with the grass walk and keeping up a two level gap. I was kinda slow, but I'm just about about to ding level 32 so i'll delevel my pacheon skills and start leveling the new ones.
I hope you guys(&girls:>) can throw me with some advices, tips or whatever. I find it a little bit hard to decide, that's why i made this thread.

uh its up to you, choose s/s or spear, but in both cases use garment

I woud suggest s/s - protector .

If it's grinding only then go with heuksel. If you are planning to do some pvp then I suggest s/s since they are much better in pvp.
Garment will work bouth ways.

yea i think what DropOut said is right. Heuskal does better in PVE than Bicheon.

100 Heuk / 100 Light / 100 Cold - Spear w/ Protector. Heuksal also gives you extra HP, and a skill which can majorly increase your Mag. Def. Pwr. and your Blocking Ratio. Also, I hope your using Light as your imbue.

tried a nuker till 76, first i made it spear, then switched to sword.
I'd suggest sword since it has shield, BR, kd, debuffs, stun/dull, etc. Go for 100 Lightning/100 Bicheon/80 cold/20 w/e you want (i'd say fire for the immunity %). 80 cold = 50% snow shield which should be enough for s/s nukers. Use protector in pvp and garment for pve, but if you were to buy only one set, use garms till ~60, then switch to protector.

As a Cold Int you got good phy so I'd take garm either way.

I like Protector, just because of the fact that you are Pure Int so your Mag. Def. is already high. So it's like the happy-medium.

Yes of course I'm using Lightning as my main imbue. Stated in my previous post. I'm just wondering what if i pick s/s? Being a shield user means that you have to have Fire shield series for me. I might be wrong. On the other hand someone said that i should put 20 points on fire. I don't really like mixing up things. I'm going to use Frost Ghost Series, Snow Shield Series, Cold Armor Series from Cold force. I don't really want to state the Lightning one, it's kinda trivial for me(imbue, nuke, buffs, passive, so basically everything except the lion shout series).
I've decided that I'm going to use garment. Most of you said that it's okay using garment with either s/s or spear. Now I just have to choose a weapon.

Go with bow so you get massive attack rating, KB, and stun. =D

You can always whip out a spear when nuking and a shield when you're knocked down anyway.

In my opinion Pure int bow is a bad investment kinda if you want a pvp-ing char. surviving in a pure int bow will be way difficult cos it doesnt have the block ratio of a Bicheon and the extra HP of a Heuskal. But i THINK the damage will be way high.

s/s is too common IMO. if you want to survive better in pvp i think s/s is better but i'd still suggest you to go spear since it is the highest dmg dealer without giving away survivability (sp?) like int bower does.

im just voicing out my opinion, other more experienced players pls correct me if im wrong

Don't go int, even a sun S/S nuker admitted pure int are getting worse by each cap, need to rely on snow shield on 1/1 and on group the most annoying complaint is that it gets kill regardless if on snow shield when 2 cleric simultaneously target them with overheal.
