I want to make a power leveling char for my other chars. Which one is better, bard or wizard? wizard of course does good damage, but I know some ppl using bards and seem to be faster. Bards have some attacks which are quite quick and do good damage. So, any suggestions?

Depends on what plvl. If you are looking for ong plvl then bard will be the best choise if you have a lvl85 bard. Any higher mobs then ongs I would suggest wiz

Bard / cleric , u never need pots or return scroll since u have best speed in the game , u spend money only for repair .

um... lv 85 bard at ongs O_o it shouldnt need hp pots...

make a wiz/bard if you want... it'll level faster on its own also plus you have more options

It really depends on what mobs you are planning to kill. Nachals and PEGs go really well with a 90-100 wiz for example but ongs are great with an 85 bard.

sp farm = bard/cleric to lure mobs and res, actual powerlvl = wiz/bard.

There both good, my freind use to do alot of plv and he was a bard and he was damn fast, wiz are not as fast as a bard but there close to and both are pretty damn good at plv, if you going make a acc for plv go for bard in my opinion.

For SP farming like Ongs, having a 72+ bard/cleric will be just fine. just make sure you have atleast good gear and a good harp. Or just having a 85+ bard/cleric like the others said.

For Powerleveling like Penons->PEGs->Chasers, having a wizard with good gear will do the trick just fine.

My union tested this argument about bard/nuker ksing.
Note: I'm not supporting bots but the test was done with bot users (seeing how bots do most of ong farming) bard and int nuker were place on the same area, it became appear from the start that int nuker was faster and got the most kills and the shouts AOE helps alot.

Well i just witnessed this event when i logged onto my friends account. I was running around trying to delevel his dude when i saw a bard and nuker botting around. The nuker had few KS with shout but the bard was just hopping around faster than the nuker.

Since you said you tested this out i wont go against your word. Im just voicing what i saw with my own eyes.

can you please list the basic skills needed for plvl/farm

do i need all the 4 element skills? (fire,ice,light,earth)

On new server, getting plvled by lv.56 Wiz who makes gold....and im getting at least 30k a day w/ sp ticket. Last night i activated the 1 day gold ticket the same time as my sp ticket was on and got 30k SP in 11 hours

lvl 90 nuker with a good spear can do 25k damage with shouts.. that will own that lil bard.
but i think wizz better. =] not sure but lvl 90 wizz with good staff can do 100k+ damage on a ong.
3 shouts = 1 wizz nuke....
3 shouts = 75k 1 wizz nuke=100k + u get more radius
if is lvl 100 wizz dont even need to cast spells 30k+damage from normal attk

wiz can 1hit pt ongs with normal attack
int can 1hit pt ongs with lion shouts too
shouts>bard attacks>wiz normal>wiz nukes in terms of aoe...
if they all 1 hit mobs, the aoe doesnt matter, it'll never happen if the mob it targets get killed first

but wiz is best for ong imo, it doesnt need pots so doesnt cost anything to use, it only needs to wiz staff like once every 5 hours...

for ksing, chinese ints with shouts is best, bard attacks are slower than shouts, it was just at earlier caps the shouts couldnt 1 hit ongs so bards were better. but now shouts can 1 hit pt ongs...

well IMO i think bard for ONG and wizz for lvl up
