Submitted by editor on November 25, 2009 - 02:00
“We are constantly looking for new ways to provide our players with easy access to in-game content,” said Jina Song, General Manager at Joymax. Using the newly released pre-paid cards, players can purchase in-game currency for each game operated by Joymax and use the currency to acquire a wide variety of gear from the in-game item malls, from unique avatar outfits to powerful buffs and character upgrades.

By working with Joymax to launch their pre-paid in-game currency cards, were providing them with a valuable new revenue stream for their business, said Brian Parlotto, Senior Vice President of Consumer Products and International at InComm. Additionally, this partnership provides us with the opportunity to further expand our business in the gaming sector and strengthen our relationships with leading retailers such as Blockbuster.”

Seems strange that Joymax would use an email address @live.com instead of @joymax.com for something like this. Strange...

Its obvious that GaGa knows nothing about Joymax's long standing horrible reputation.... I'm not even surprised by their pathetic attempt to reach players with this event. How da F*ck is anyone gonna enjoy a game loaded with bots KSing you....almost no community to interact with and the worst game management in the history of game management..?

hm...

$10 increments for the cards... + ~$0.70 tax...
so for a first time buyer, you need minimum 2 cards for a silver ticket...
with 50 silk left, you need a 3rd card so you can buy anything because you can't get anything worth while for 50 silk...

so for 3 cards, you spend ~$32.10, you get a month of silver prem and pick up pet... the permanent items (avatar) would cost another card...

you can win a $70 video card, $30 speaker or a $40 keyboard/mouse... for about $30-40 worth of silk... why spend more on silk than you can going out and buying the items... 1st no one listens to the in game music out of lack of good music, 2nd who would use a mouse/keyboard that would lag when they try to pvp/grind...

lastly, why is the 3rd place prize worth more than 2nd place, and they never did say they would pay shipping/handling... look to spend another $10 just to get them to mail it to you

looks about right... use microsoft's email server instead of buying their own... good job joymax. bet they host their images on imageshack or something... cant even host 1 copy of their own games on their own servers, best they can do is make a torrent that cant even be opened without their "torrent" client

Right -- I only played that game for more than 3 years.
Do I agree with the way Joymax handles things? No, but what I said still stands; when Joymax actually does something, be it little or big, everyone continues to complain. Face it, Joymax isn't going to rid their servers of bots anytime soon, so pack your bags and leave.

And whatever they do "whether little or big" is met with complaint beeeecaaaauuuseeeeeeee..??? ummmmhhh err REPTUATION! maybe?..It doesn't matter what "good" they do now it doesn't make up for over 3 years f*ucking us.

3 years ago the game was awesome. The GM's would come on and make jokes.

The game has since gone downhill, and become nothing more than a money making machine for Joymax. However, if people are going to be stupid enough to continue to pay for something which Joymax doesn't even have no maintain, why would they?

The game hasn't been hell for three years, it's only been the past two years or so that the game has seen a drastic decline.

Anyone who is still playing the game is in no position to complain, and those who pay and complain.... well you know what I think of you.

It would be an amazing game when juxtaposed with what it is today!

Just proves my point that no matter what, people are always going to complain. Complained back then, complain now.
