DID SRF got DDOS attacked today?

I saw a thread called "This forum sucks" (its locked now) with some guy talking about how he hates this forum and that nearly everyone here bots. He said he was gonna carry out a DDOS attack on this forum. Then afterwords I noticed today I couldn't browse SRF at all..I was experiencing repeated network timed out notifications. I could browse the web easily except SRF. Did he atually do it?
Kinda crazy if he did and it makes me wonder if he could actually pull it off why didn't he target the people who deserved to be attacked the most? Which is Joymax's website....Attacking JM would be the logical target to vent one's frustration.
