Q&A is broken.
Only active section is GD n OTL.
Ppl would use Q&A if they would actually get an answer. Problem is, some never even get an answer from Q&A. Topic just sit there forever.

2007-2008, Most Questions were answered by XMoshe, myself, and lurkers. Early 09 Verfo(Banned for Botting), Xmoshe, and more lurkers answer questions. The answering machines were not banned, they stopped playing SRO and moved on. Those banned in EB 9/10 times contributed to flame wars in GD not answering questions in Q&A, try again.

It only takes a couple of seconds to click "Questions Answers" on the side navigator and see that you do get a reply in Q&A. Even under a minute to check a handful of the topics and see that the questions do not sit there unanswered for days. You, yourself, should know this since you've contributed to that section.

Please, don't be stupid. Or I'll bite your head off.

Closing or moving threads takes about the same amount of clicking, except one course of action encourages the perpetrator to repost while the other sends a subtle message that that person is posting in the wrong section (which happens anyway in any section on any forum). If this takes so much work, then opt for the easy way out and post a global announcement or a global message reminder for all members. The irony is that this thread itself isn't appropriate nor efficient in trying to achieve your objective in efficient forum management, or am I just thinking too hard.

Yeah...GD isn´t dying or anything so let's just close half the topics!
Like the others said, Q&A is full of unanswered questions therefore you might as well change the section's name to that.

I stopped answering questions when the game outgrew me. Once we hit mid 90 cap any help I could offer became outdated.

Hmm....Some of the question in there are the same as 2 years ago, your not outdated your just ex players with sro experince that still can help.

Somehow I can see certain SRF members seeing a locked question thread here in GD and opening a new thread in GD to respond to the question rather than seeing if the question was also posted in Q&A.

Then again, there are ways to get your question answered in GD without actually asking a question. Seems though it'd just be easier to go to Q&A in the first place. If enough people do it, more will follow.

I lurk Q/A all the time

Most of the questions go something like this tho... "I got plvled to 100, which build should I choose and how do I play this game?"

95% of the threads in GD are questions.

Bamp, also posting a question in GD should be an offense that gives warnings, if people can't read rules that is their own problem. I wouldn't even bother locking them, just delete them without notifying the user. If they are not intelligent enough to read rules, then they can find a better place.
