I need a new MMORPG

I've been playing SRO for the past 5 years and i need something new...
I have realized that when next cap comes i don't want to spend crazy money lvling my 5 lvl 100 chars to 105.
So... if you guys can help... is there any other as good and addicting as SRO? I've played some and yes they have good graphics but its just not the same... the only thing that makes SRO different from any other game are the Job Wars... Triangular conflicts... Being a Hunter, a Thief, a Trader and challenging ur self to conquer something...
I've been hunter for the past 5 years and i am #1 in Greece and i just want something that takes my mind from grinding something fun... So if you can give me a hand a find my next game... i would appreciate it

u could say i am an octopus... but the amount of arms i have is not the subject here.
Prophet : WoW i've tried i really don't like it that much and Aion yes i've heard is good but does it have what i am looking for? Something besides Grinding and pvp?

Both WoW and Aion likely don't get anywhere until you've hit cap and are raiding. That or your high-pvping. There isn't too many good mmos out right now but some good ones coming like Blade & Soul, Continenth of the Ninth, GW2.
ATM there's only a few that seems worth trying like Souls of the Ultimate Nation, maybe give Runes of Magic a shot (Though it is a WoW clone but with dual class). Mabonigi Heroes will be out soon as well.
For me, I'm awaiting awesome graphics hack & slash C9 or B&S. A game that'll require some real skills unlike SRO.

Jade dynasty is somewhat like silkroad, it features legal botting, so you won't have to grind, besides that Aion/WoW are your best options or even LoTRo

I suggest you to try Jade Dynasty, expansion 1 has released this morning, and it has its own section here on srf

Still not released. Later today.
And yeah I moved to Jade after 4 years of sro. Pretty good game, community is just awesome, so many friendly people you wouldnt believe.

Grinding and PvP is essentially at the core of MMOs. You take those out and what do you get?

I think the topic starter gets it right.
Silkroad become a trash after all over the years. And there is no game out there what would beat upp sro.
I still like sro too, but too much bot, outrageus level cap, this is all about donating to joymax and stress to get yourself to the top, and after that everything starts again with make ++ on your items and do magic pop.
The old sro was better it was more likly about the trades and pvp, I liked the times before this freakin and pointless dresses moved in, and we also get the beautifull magic pop.

So Join Jade Dynasty! it's like a new start, a fresh mmo, and it's even more fun then Silkroad, it has more options and a much much nicer community, i hope our (srf) section will become active again after this update, a shame if it wouldn't

i would either say Jade Dynasty or another game by the same company, Perfect World International. i havent played jade dynasty but heard its good. as for PWI i have been playing for 2 months and have a lvl 59 and 30. There are pve and pvp servers, instances, tiers, great community, cool skills, nice graphics, arena (down atm) territory wars, and you can trade in game coin for gold (silk pretty much) so you dont have to spend real money to get item mall items.

Nothing.
You get a game that doesn't suck. Well without the grinding part not PvP since PvP IS currently essentially at the core. But I wouldn't consider SRO's "PvP" PvP at all since it's not even balanced, nor is it about anything but the # of suns or crits.
SRO is essentially 15% grinding, 1% fake "PvP", and 84% waiting to login due to bots. Or how it was.
As for new mmos, maybe wait for SRO2? Since it IS under dev. Just hope they don't make it another grindfest.

I didn't say i wanted a game w/o grinding and pvp i just want a game that offers more than grinding and pvp, like SRO ( Trade Runs )

LoL don't make me remind you the day you almost cried when i came to rescue ur trade run cause 1 hunter and 1 trader just wasn't enough... Stop Hating.. and just try to keep up... And tell eversong he is a homo, got rejected from being one of my hunters and he stopped jobbing...
