Alright everyone, its time to step into the new era, Silkroad Online is now on twitter, Myspace and facebook!

To celebrate our launch into this new era of community involvement we have created an event through each of the sites. Please take the time to read the event details below and tell your guild and party mates to do the same. We will be having more events in the future through these sites so be on the lookout for updates through our forums and newly created community pages!

Myspace Event: Comments Please! : 11/3/2009 – 11/30/2009
Step 1: Go to http://www.myspace.com/joymaxsilk and add Silkroad Online to your Myspace friends list.
Step 2: Post a non-offensive and creative greeting in the Comments section with your Server and Character name.
Prize: We will choose 5 winners to receive an exclusive Silkroad Online metallic poster.

Twitter Event: Tweet Me Right! : 11/3/2009 – whenever we reach 100th Follower
Step 1: Go to http://www.twitter.com/SilkroadOnline and follow Silkroad Online on your twitter account then send a direct message with your Server and Character name.
Prize: Be the100th follower on twitter and receive an exclusive Silkroad Online metallic poster.

Facebook Event: Wall of Fame Fan Event: 11/3/2009 – 11/30/2009
Step 1: Go to http://www.facebook.com/pages/Silkroad- ... 1620888548 and become a fan of Silkroad Online
Step 2: Fans of Silkroad will post their Server and Character name on our wall and also add a direct image or hyperlink to their best in-game screenshot.
Prize: We will select the top 3 images and the winners will receive a Silkroad t-shirt and 2 Silkroad Online posters

eh, I think it's more of a new wave of advertisement. Dragon Oath is still in beta and it's doing almost the same thing. A few other games i've looked at recently are doing similar strategies to reach out to audiences. It's not just JM's last ditch attempt.

I like how they need to specify that. Too bad their prizes are awful. When they did this on JD the prize was awesome and everyone could enjoy it.
