I've played SRO off and on for so long, but no matter what I do, no MMO even comes close to the amount of fun I have on SRO. It's like one I enjoy spending countless hours grinding on... Anyway enough about my masochistic grinding fantasies. Last time I played was abouuuut... January, the servers were fine then, I could log in and everything. Then I stopped just cause of things and tried again in July-ish. BUT I couldn't log in. ANY server I chose, I would wait and wait and wait, no joining for meeeeee. So I'm just wondering, has it gotten better? I noticed they've added some more bot ban stuff in auguest 09. So maybe this has cleared up the servers for us legits (or even those of you non-botters but aren't legits)? I'm downloading the game right now so I'll find out. But I'm just hoping it's better. When I come back from long periods of time I usually go further than I did before. Last time I got to 45 DA Warrior on Venus. Maybe this time I'll go to 100! (Yeah right, yay pessimism/realism).

Alot of people haved moved to foreign / private sro servers now, just so they can login and have less bots

Takes like 6 hours to get into Xian without premium.

Sure you can log in. Buy a premium and throw money at the game.

Ew, I meant within a reasonable time line. 5 hours = not reasonable. By the time you get in your time of gameplay would mostly be over.

And yes, I did get in, I made a new character on Iris. My account still has some silk on it, so I don't think they'll ban it. If they'll ban an inactive account with silk they better ban bots with silk to, or suffer my eternal wrath.

Anyway, Iris isn't that bad to get into. Took 2 hours around noon (Pacific time) and then only took like 5 minutes later on at around 5 pm. But I'm still not sure if I want to play again. Aside from starting over and losing my silk and items (which a lot of people do, but still), sure it's okay now, but imagine me getting a higher level, and then the server crowds just like the rest and can never get on without starting the autologin the day before lol. It would really suck. A private server sounds kind of good. But only if the XP/SP rate isn't TOO multiplied. It's not fun if you kill 1 monster and reach lvl 90 and FF. Ugh, this sucks >=(. What they need is a server swap item mall item. Transfer all your shiz to another server. So I can get the stuff I paid for, and still remotely log on sometime. It'd probably make a decent chunk of cash too and kind of even out the servers. Instead of all the oldbies on Xian being there, a few can move to a newer server. Of course then we'd have to deal with a new server opening and level 100s walking around... THERE'S NO SOLUTION ASIDE FROM THE DESTRUCTION OF ALL BOTS. Oh how I wish it were done. /endrant

You need to understand the way this game works. At a certain point in the game your going to have the urge to bot. The peer pressure gets intense LMAO. Also your going to want a pet and other premium items. The answer to your question then becomes easy. What would you rather do. Waste 4 hours a day trying to log in or buy a premium ticket for instant access, and double xp? considering your going to need to pay for items anyway. If you dont intend on buying anything fair enough! id consider geting the ticket seriously. And thb the legit gamers and users who dont buy any thing always end up losers. I mean have fun levelling slower than premium users and pvping users with item enhancement gear on.

Buy the premium to get the most out of the game. Or don't play at all. Its the way Joymax have made it. We have no choice. I chose option C. Quit lol. I havnt played for over a year and this is my first post since as i'm thinking about coming back. With premium obvcourse.
