If you're noobish like me and need to make gold. Use JM's shitty event to your advantage and enjoy all the idiot goldbuying nubs that think useless stuff is worth millions. This is how I got my 8d set as well. When a new event comes, people think that silly stuff is worth a lot. It also helps if you global "OMG I won a sun/sox from turning in X item"

true dat. I'm always too poor to buy capped items, i just play and mess around until new items come, than spend gold i collected on the now no longer capped items and no longer stupidly priced.

u have to actually get to 10d before using a 10d set :p , and when you cant leave all day and come back to see gained lvls..that takes quite some time.
Yea srry 4 da confusion. I only had 10m when Alibaba started. I ended up with around 300m gold. Took that and bought these. Still got some gold leftover, but each piece was about 15-45m. Sword was 45m, shield was i dunno... destroyed a bunch of 85+5 shields trying to make a +6 one.

the lower lvl set, the harder it is to get a good one...
This is false. It is easier to obtain a 90 cap set than it is a 100 cap set (somewhat server dependant, might even apply to 80cap set). Get facts straight.
Hardest sets to get imo are first tier ones. Most capped players only pimp last tier. Even when there are first tier sets, those usually aren't maxed pimp, just random blues added.
