A friend of mine that still plays sro have maxed lion shout and he never uses it. I think its very useful on PVP or PVE but i ever see anyone used it before on PVP before, also it seams that Lion shout...you see that MP consumption is pretty high, if you can use it on something else like extra mp for another nuke do you think it is still useful?

Altho i seldom uses it...
But when u have limited SPs, i wouldn't recommed it.
Takes quite an amount of SP just to make it.

I use(d) it during PvE but I wouldn't recommend using it in PvP, you can better load another nuke or chain the opponent. Especially at high lvl's, you won't kill the opponent by doing alot of damage and finishing it with a shout that is like 2-3k tops, you finish it by getting his hp low enough that he can't repot enough of it when you launch you last nuke or stabs.

shout is instant cast, still useful though
nuke=18k dmg
shout=6k dmg

The only situation where I think it would be helpful is when powerfarming at Ong. PvP it's not needed, PvE it's not needed.

So dejavu. It isn't a useless skill. Instant-cast but low damage makes it a narrow-use skill, but definitely useful. If you do not exhaustively delve into the fine arts of weaponry, adding this skill to your repertoire can give that little much extra to turn a stalemate situation into a landslide easy win in your favor. That's all I'll say about it.

If you have never felt the need to use this skill (in pvp), then ignore it, this skill isn't for you.

i like it
use it like xbow's fast shot, link attacks with it, low damage but fast enough to cancel out their pot heal before next attack

though fast shot is mp cheap :S

nuke 300% => 3s cast time
shout 100% => 1s cast time, 1/3 nuke dmg
equal dmg over time, but before knocked down or stunned, you are sure that your skill is cast. With nuke, you need 2.5s to charge so if you are disabled, you waste 2.5s for nothing.

I was CTF at 38-46 lvls (I was 45, 7 gap), I killed every under 40 level wizard by single shout 5/8 of our opponents were wizards so i got a lot of tickets.

yup, any wiz with life control and a set worse than +3 will die

lion shout is good for taxis and damage bridging

I took the first 2 books and now I rgret it. I took them for plvl and yes. it's very useful for that, but nothing else (for me)

i love the lion shouts , if anything , bicheon typhoon series is more useless

3 Lion Shouts back to back = 1 nuke and about the same casting time = useful
