TIme limit?

I'm pretty sure this has been posted before.

Why doesn't joymax just implant a grinding period limit, let say about 4 hours per person. Then the person stops gaining exp and gold?

It would solve some gold bot problems since they would have to keep checking on the time limit on each bot and would make sure that people aren't "fiendish" on the grinding.

Just a thought

that could work but.. Gold bots probably have so much alternate accounts they could just interchange accounts in 4 hours

That is why an IP limit should be set.
4 hours per IP of grinding.

If they make so, lots of SRF players would quit

No legit will grind for 6 hours straight dude..

At some point they will start to get tired.

If they really dog rind legitimately then 4-5 hours will be plenty per DAY.

What does it matter what other people do/how they do it? If you really enjoy the game, you should'nt care how they play, worry about how you play. iSRO is in a slum that it will never get out of, ever.

Vsro already has this implemented for years now, lol 5 hours a day 100% and 1 hour 50% exp so a total of 6 hours a day grind time, after that pvp, trade etc... and to tell you the truth it's perfect. I have time to grind, I have time to stall, etc...
Not agreeing with the "most players will quit if that would have been implemented", I think more will join and legit too.
I agree with the idea, but I don't think that it will happen soon... or never ...

What if you have a premium+ and miss a day and have 10 hours and let's say if you do manage to grind it all off. That's at least 10hours needed and a chance that the premium will reset again and add another 5hours. I know no one would grind that off, but that's money wasted and Joymax knows if they do that then there will be a flop in their cash.

It'd be the best thing they do, but the worst thing. Unless they modify the exp increase items to let's say.. gold time to 150% increase for 2hours or prem+ 250% for 2hours. Then they could do that, but we know it'll never happen.

Read the description unless it was changed. It says that the previous day will carry onto the next day.

Maybe 6 hours soloing is along time but in a party I can play for like 10 hours before I get bored.

Sorry for my short answer lol
but this fails in:
Party Mode.

I usually grind around 5/6 hours per day on intervals of 1 or 2 hours...
It's not a great idea, bot will still there, even if they don't gain gold...
Pretty sure, if JM implement that thing, someone will keep modifing the bot to fit in.

It's not like JM gives a damn and are gonna bother implanting this.

i don't get the point of suggesting outrageous ideas when all that JM really has to do is throw in some active GM's that actually work to improve the community rather then playing paper football all day in their offices.

I'm quite certain that 5 hours has to be used in 24 hours or it disappears.

or was I wrong all this time !O_o!

you were wrong all this time. it accumulates up to 15 hours of exp (in the case of the premium+) and then it just stops accumulating time until you waste it.

And you're wrong all this time too.
All Exp/SP Tic only accumulate 1 day of un-used ticket time over.
Meaning the max u can accumulate is 10hours with Prem Plus.
And all carried forward ticket time will b gone if you didn't use them after 48hours.
Look at the ticket.

Previous Day + Today

OT:
Would b a great idea... Kills bot sales, get more legits. BUT...

Very simple, when the user has his premium active, he can still gain exp, no matter if he has 10+ hours in that day.

And because this is called "anti-addiction" system, it's normal that it won't let you grind for more than 6h (meanwhile you can still play but not grinding). It also boost the trading activity

your idea is good.

but very bad for players who are playing at internet cafe's. It would be great though if each character has an ID and registers for 4 hours then bam! no exp and sp.

also this idea would be very good for powerleveling since all the exp are going to the plvled characters.

it would be great if the character is not able to kill a mob, i meant can click it but not able to attack it, there would be a blue banner on top that says. "Your 4 hours of grinding has been consumed... wait for 1 hour to resume grinding" or something like that...

just a thought though :)

Honestly, you aren't the first, nor, I'm sure, you will be the last to mention this very thing. I believe one of the other versions of SRO has it, vSRO if I remember, but correct me if I'm wrong. I don't know how that one turned out, being as I never have nor ever will go to that version, but I think it would be a bad idea anyway.

Not that Joymax will ever do anything about it anyway; and I really do not consider this new "Clean Campaign" event a "reasonable effort" on their part. More like actually not being lazy to just lifting a small finger compared to actually getting up and taking an active stance in their so called "war against illegal programs."

Whatever.
