i used to play SRO like a year ago, then i switched to WoW and LOTRO, and got bored, so now I'm back, and since i forgot my account info, (i actually had a penguin with it so meh )
Im having a fresh start, but idk which server, well i want to play with people, not gold farmers, so probably a new server that does not have That many goldbots, a friendly guild/union would be nice (so recommendations accepted).
Is that to much to ask? If not, or which server approaches the best to my expectations?

If you want to play without goldbots around and you like the chinese chars, try any private server (sjsro, ecsro, swsro...)

we actualy dont forget anything, we just displace memories to long term storage.
it takes a certain procedure to retrieve these memories, one important step being believing it is possible.
you may also be choosing to create a new account because you dont want your old one, consciously or not. (and this also can influence your forgetting or remembering)

I dont know if new servers have less bots than old ones, seriously. But you picked the right period to come back, joymax has made a substantial bot ban last week and since then the servers are loggable. You could pick one of the least populated servers for example (the most recent servers are not it) but there are better criteria to choose from. Like friends, or the type of population, and of course the age of a server matters much.
If you have left no friends behind you might as well go to a new server yeah.
But be warned that the last-released servers tend to be more crowded than the recent-but-not-last ones.

iSRO is not a good game to start fresh.
If you really want to, try Helios.
Altho traffic there is worse, but atleast u get to buy low lvl gears.
Generally, i wouldn't encourage ppl to start playing SRO.

Well atm all the accounts banned in last weeks bot punishment are back, so atm all servers are crowded again.
