I knew joymax's bot banning was to good to be true.

... they didnt ban anyhing except inactive accounts. all they did was tell certain gold companies to stop for a while... every other bot out there was still working just fine. everyone in my guild that botts, (and they used a myriad of proggies) had 0 issues. except 1 went p2u and the others server got attacked for 1 day. joymax didnt do anything.

omg why are people complaining just edit your host files so SRO always goes into the .30 server....

either u can log in first time because the bots are screwed. or you can never log in because its full. i dont care if u can get on.

Seems a lot of your posts lately are "Joymax won't change" "they don't care" "bots will always be here" "*negativity*"... Gold bots were gone, or almost gone, for a while. There were plenty of times in the past month or so that I logged into Venice and the Mujigis and Penons (well all of the ice) were vacant. I saw about 4 characters total on the ice a couple times I logged in.

Maybe all the gold bots moved to mangyangs or something? Well they weren't filling the servers at least, and they weren't anywhere NEAR my grinding spot. Gone enough for me.

Negativity towards this game is the truth. People call others pessimists because they don't want to hear the truth.

If people don't want to hear (what you think is) the "truth", then don't tell them. I see no point in people opening up every single SRO thread to just say "SRO sucks, Gaymax FTL! Bots are here to stay. *cry*..." Just because a HUGE majority of the previous/current SRO player base has had a terrible time with the game doesn't mean others will feel the same way. I've gone through a lot of the bad parts of SRO before, but I still have some fun playing the game when I have time to play a bit.

I played Perfect World before. Didn't really like it. You don't see me posting a bunch of whining threads or topic replies in PW forums spewing negativity towards the PW players.

GD is plagued with negative, whining, crap lately. It's ironic that a lot of it is from people who don't even play the game.

Joymax didn't ban the bots. The guy who update the loader just went on vacation for that week so some of the bots weren't able to use the loader.

i still find the game enjoyable but i have zero hope that joymax is straightening up and seriously dealing with the bots
1 week with loggable servers is far from enough for entertaining such a hope, if you have enough experience of joymax' track record
even a full month wouldnt be enough
maybe after 3 months i would start revising my expectations

for all we know, the only motive JM got bots banned for a week is to look good for the championship... or other trifle motive.

at least, if their objective was to please the gamers they would Farking have done it already years ago dont you think?

that means, if their actual motive was their stated motive.

Whats the point of hiding in a bubble? Your not doing anyone a favor by keeping them in the bubble. The day they realize it will suck and its best to plan ahead and know what your dealing with beforehand. So with that point, I can pop those bubbles you guys like to live in.

I really would not care if you went into that section and said the game was crap, the players sucked, PWE has no customer support etc... I agree JD has its own kind of idiots, every game does. The ones is SRO is just a special breed of idiots you can't find anywhere else, and that I find hilarious. I could go on all day with this special breed but I really don't feel like it.

GD has been filled with negativity, whining and crap for a long time. Consider me as part of the negativity crowd. Really would not care what others categorize me as. The negatives don't make up for the positives in the slightest bit.

And the ironic thing is the ones who *DO* try to make it look remotely positive get banned. Granted, they might deserve that ban cause they use certain programs -- but still, just putting that out there, even though I'm sure I'm not the first to mention that, nor will I be the last.

You don't have to 'save' these people. I think anyone with any amount of common sense can see the negative aspects of SRO (or any game) for themselves. If they still enjoy the game despite its HUGE number of negative points, let them. It's their decision.

I can certainly understand posting in threads where people ask questions about "what's with these characters that follow each other, stop, run, stop, run, stop run..." "Those are bots stupid Joymax!!" but if someone posts a thread showing off a successful 5 star trade, it shouldn't be filled with "OMG Joymax sucks!!!... no yellow boxes! BANHAMMER!!! *flame*"

That doesn't relate to me. I don't do retarded things like that. I haven't even gotten 1 person banned for botting. I got better things to do than to turn on my "bot screenshot analyzer" for every time someone posts a picture or video. Nor do I care enough to look through someones photobucket account for pictures of illegal programs.
