Debuff question

Ok here goes, If i find a botter stealing my kills (hypothetically) and I debuff him turn purple, the whole nine yards, if he dies do I go red name or no?
I have a friend that says yes, while I have many who just don't know.

Does this apply to warlock debuffs and chinese? Or just one/the other?
