Well I'm afraid its over for me. I've decided to call it quits. I've been chasing my tail for the past 4 years playing this game. Wanting to make the cap has lost my interest. I feel like I've missed the boat. The caps that I shouldav made were at 70 and 80 and back then I didn't ...each year brings more garbage than the year before. If you look at the lvl caps in terms of decades (60s 70s 80s 90s etc) then I was a 70s disco dude who's style is out of date. The game has lost its touch and I feel like I'm just lingering around watching other players and time pass on.


The game wont ever go back to the way it was..days of trading....thieves waiting at the crossroads in Jangan...Hunters patrolling daily...nearly every person you see grinding everywhere is an actual person you can talk to. I've met so many people back then from grinding. We'd take a break and sit under the trees in Jangan and talk. We'd watch traders lost their loot and laugh about it..those were fun times indeed. But no more. I've done a lot of fun things in this game but there were still other fun things I didn't do..but oh well..No point trying them now because the game has completely changed..for the worse..I still blame Joymax for this....I tried to stick it out but the feeling is gone.


Made too many chars (My number 1 reason for not making any caps hehe). The turning point that indicated that I should now quit came recently when I lvled to 84 on my main char and I realized that there isn't anything new at all.... even I had just leveled to 100. It doesn't make any difference in terms of game play and feel. It made me realized SRO died after the 80 cap for me and it is time to let go. In addition I'm just starting my final year of college and wont have time for SRO.


So I'd like to say goodbye to the game and to anyone on here that may not know that they knew me because I have nothing on here (cept that I'm on Athens) to identify me. My chars names were KoGaH, _MURAMASA_, _BUDO_, BUJUTSU,(plus a whole lot more low lvl ones) ..Guilds.._LeTHaL_, SonsOfoDin, ViperSquad....Unions..xXx ..can't remember the other unions because me and my crew bounced around to so many..I never cared too much about who we joined or if we joined any.


Don't bother asking for my chars because they are all gone..given away and some deleted. Its also the best way to ensure that I don't ever come back. I'll pop by on SRF to see whats happening but never to post. This is my last one. If SRO2 comes out next year like the rumors says then I will give it a try. It will be like a new beginning where everyone starts over just like the old days. But for now all you peeps..I'm out..good luck to all....

Well, That was a Long story, I agree, Sro died after 80 cap, and when the goldbots came, JM became greedy, they needed money, now they have money, they won't give it up, they want more of it...

yeah the game was magical in its beginning and this feeling is long gone
i dont know about cap or about if lvl 84 brings some betterment to the gameplay and to the fun

i understand you're seeing no point in trying to regain the fun you used to have through grinding your way up.

i wont suggest you to try other ways to have fun, apparently you've tried and failed.
maybe it's time for you to move on, anyway it is just a game (and our lives, yes! no! i dont know)
