Careful "legits"... just a thought

All that hard work "legits" are about to put into leveling/farming/griding/whatever could be wasted. Enough whining, threats and most importantly "chargebacks" could leave Joymax with no choice but to rollback.
Just a thought.

they will not do a rollback, they didnt do one when there was that screw up on Joymax portal a few years ago, that allowed you change account info with only knowing the ID, using a firefox addon.

They wont rollback, period. You have as much chance of that as Bill Gates owning an iPod.

They did a server roll on one of the new servers, if i remember correctly it was Hera or Titan... they even posted it on the site, They also did something similar to a roll back and it was giving GDFs to people who owned and sold them either to npc or other players; this was back in the 80s cap the first Legend (1).

You remember Exploit ? With Firefox and stuff ? if they cared about lost Accounts they have would of Rollbacked ... They just simply dont care and why would they ?

I preferred 80 cap. Snow, new skills, euros weren't that overpowered yet.

Nu Zir ... Bladers were fun at cap80 , they could tank 2H warriors ... but indd EU were to overpowered

Wierd... i'm 77 like my sig says and I pvp with my lvl 80 wiz friend all the time. He only 1-hits me when he's in LC, although that could be cuz he's using 80+5 staff and I only have ice 60. Normally the score is like 12-5 with me winning though. Oh, and I'm in FULL 8d while he's in mostly 8d and a few 9d parts.

no it just means that they rollback the data to an earlier time.. sort of like a windows system restore,
so if they did do it (Which they probably won't) all our characters, alchemy, exp etc would go back to being as they were monday night just before the inspection.

They did a rollback on Xian a long time ago, along with 50% exp for like amonth or so, that around Xmas 2005 I think, after the server was hacked with Fake GMs lol
The fake GMs spawning all kinds of stuff was like the best event, which is pretty sad for Joymax lol, but having an exp event with I think the first jewel box event(it was cool back then ¬.¬), and getting globals as prizes was nice after that too ;d.
I think they did another one too if I remember right, a small one a while back when there was a money dupe exploit at the ferry npcs.
Of course(even if its their fault) getting your chars hacked prolly wont cause a rollback, to them that's your problem lol.

If they did a rollback it would only be to the most stable release before they had updated, so it wouldn't change anything major.

Yesterday I found a great way to get good expe parties : I run
free-taxi parties on mobs that still give me decent expe (5 levels below me).
As I'm full sox I can kill with damage buffs on (I'm rogue).
Not
great expe for the guys in my pt compared to a good taxi-runner but still decent expe, and quite good for a free taxi.
It's fun for me ! Having people in party, some helpful and friendly, always some chatting going on and fun things happening.
I'm loving this !
No more toiling to build parties up only to see them getting dismantled by the event or by me getting annoyed.
Giving away free stuff, time or energy brings a joyful laid-back energy to the relationship, and as I'm also profitting from the deal all is well (I'm not getting annoyed at ungratefulness, greed of the players or whatever).
Playing legit isn't about capping, it's about playing the game and having fun doing it.
