Do you think a Chinese hybrid str blader is a good build cuz since i have made that video people are saying hybrid str = delete. So im just asking

hybrid blader blows. dont do it. blader is a tank, not a damage dealer. do what you're supposed to. the time of hybrids ended back at 80 cap.

blader wont get into euro pts to be a "tank" besides, it can't hold aggro...

tank in group pvp? the other players can choose to not attack blader, then how is it a tanker...

1vs1 pvp, it just needs enough hp to have room to not get 1 critted and let pots take over, extra can be given to int so it can increase damage so other person doesnt "tank" blader's low hits

if the debuff on blade is how you are making up the low blade damage, you can say same about debuffs lowering damage blader takes as well so it doesnt need as high of hp

anyhow, str hybrids works fine, most say go pure str because they like pvps where both people stand in front of each other and bash a few keys and repeat while hoping for some crits... having int lets you deal more damage while knowing you have less hp so you have to learn a new strategy to keep dps while avoiding/cancelling damage taken

its easier to kill a hybrid than it is to kill a pure str.. dbuffs kill both easily for me. but thats just a fact tho i cant see how 90% would be bad

My hybrid str blader with masteries bicheon/fire/light is dead, i left her at lvl 86 and will never come back to play it, i started an hybrid int with masteries heuksal/fire/light, and is doing pretty well, despite its only lvl 40....as someone have said hybrids time has come to an end with 80 cap.

I see nothing wrong with hybrids, especially STR Hybrids. I think its a great idea, to increase damage output

should of done bich/fire/ice duh ice makes up for the lost phy def and then some. oh should i add that you get snow shield? with you having more int you can get a higher snow shield......

the little problem is...if you go hybrid, then you needed lightning (int=more mag dmg -> lightning to increase mag dmg more)
and then: 100weapon (sure) 100 fire (maybe) 100 light (maybe)
or: 100weapon 100fire 80light 20ice
or: 100weapon 90fire 90light 20ice
or even higher ice (another advantage of hybrid -> more mp) 100 weapon 90fire 70light 40ice
I'd choose the second or the third one (think i used the third one) because thats the advantage of being hybrid...if the enemy got armor, then its no problem for you, you got also mag dmg.
if the enemy wears garment, then its no problem too, you got phys dmg.
and if the enemy wears protector, then you hit him with both

EDIT: i had hybrid blader with 90%phys naked (dont know ratio) , it was great to fight with him

Go with hybrid, you'll like it

Then tank a magical attack monster, please. Do me the favor.

Chinese should be played hybrid. Their weapons don't have both attack values just for show off. <_<

tbh hybrid str Chinese blader is as good as a full str wizard~. Bladers are meant to be full str... and a blader in garms can tank magical based monsters easily in most cases. Hybrid Chinese ints on the other hand are pretty good builds if done right

depends on how much will the dmg increases, also crits will become useless

so i dunno, 5:1 is maybe too much hybridness, IMO.

Don't read the comments on youtube videos. Unless its pure int, pure str or 7/8:1 hybrid its considered bad because no one has tried it. Most of youtube video watchers are low level still trying to connect to the servers while watching that...
All the best bladers on Aege have always been hybrid and maxed ice.

for Chinese as long as u use the appropriate weapon ie sword for int heavy build, blade for str heavy build
and play smart its really hard to mess up a char
imo pure str are good
pure int are good
hybrid int are good
hybrid str are good
70:70 are good

Just my 2 cents.

I would highly recommend a Hybrid Str Blader, just to dish out more damage.
Killing slow=taking more damage. Killing fast=taking less damage.

- Bicheon has one of the fastest attacks.
- Gives HUGE Phy Def burst.
- Weapon skills Highest Phy damage output sits at 250%/220% and theres only 1 of em.
- Imbue is important, but to make it more effective, adding a few int helps.

2:1 STR Bick/Light/Fire. <3

1. Wiz only have magical attacks and can only cause magical dmg while bladers have both magical and physical attacks and cause both magical dmg. Stupid comparison.
2.So how come hybrid ints are good builds if they are "done" right? Cant a hyb str be a good build if its played right? ~,~

The wizard part was just sarcasm sheesh. Anyways bladers no matter how fast their skills are have lowest damage amongst the str builds and rely highly on their crits to seal the deal. Going hybrid means your crits are not that deadly.. I have seen robe based ints tank bladers until the crits kick in. People usually make bladers to tank if you want more damage output int hybrids make more sense >.>

U haven't tested it haven't you? Check damage contest.
STR Hybrid does higher OVERALL DAMAGE.
ALSO! Higher CRIT DAMAGE.

Key WORD, STR HYBRID. not Int.

During the 80 CAP.
Liquidsmooth was 2:1 STR Hybrid with sun bow.
D2A was Full STR Bow with sun bow too.

Guess what? Liquidsmooth crit higher than D2A.

Nutter lowered his after 100 cap came out.
It used to be 88 ice during 90 cap since he never bothered to get the last two levels. Toan had 70/50 last cap and he was the meanest tank I ever saw.
I haven't logged on since 100 cap came out and Aege died so I don't know now...
