In theory, if there were to be atleast 4 more SRO versions that were created for different regions, let say a Euro SRO, South American SRO, Australian SRO and Middle eastern SRO. Do you guys think that traffic would go down in ISRO? Or would people stay with their current characters to spare the lost time?
Also, add in mind that these private sectors would IP block people that are not of the regions.
Also if you live in one of those regions lets say Euro, would you move to Usro or stay in Isro?

There are a lot of russian players that speak good english on the isro servers. It wouldn't suprise me to see english speaking players going rSRO. They'd most likely take paypal as well.

The traffic would go down momentarily. Gold bot companies would need to increase production on all 4 versions. They would move some of their operations to these new 4 which would stretch them out thin for time being until they are able to increase production again.

I vote hands down for Middle East SRO, that would eliminate 70% of all traffic. Problem solved. Contain them to their own crappy ways of playing games. Middle East SRO would collapse under the weight of so many players, and 0 income.

it's still the same, just new players from other countries will play iSRO if some country will get their ip banned.
and also playing sro on the local country might be cool but iSRO is more fun.

you know MOST of the goldbots, let's say 2500 goldbots in every server over the 3000 goldbots are from USA and other English gold selling companies. The people you mention from Middle east seem like the biggest problem to you cause they sometimes go non-afk while the goldbots are 24/7 afk. Heck,
I bet most of the people that run goldbots don't know how to play Silkroad. They just have coders that code bots for everygame, they pay the coders, they launch their bots. That's their business.
thats true.. xD

An international community is a lot more fun than always playing with people from your country alone. I've made friends from a lot of places. Also its not like you still don't get to play with people from your country on isro. Its the best of both worlds.

Regular player bots were never the problem of iSRO. Whether you clicked the mouse by hand or via a program, you take 1 slot in the server. The problem was always goldbots (clientless bots).
If you create 4, 5, 25, 50 versions of SRO nothing would change. Each version limits the usage per IP to about 30 accounts online per IP (I believe that's the correct number). Create more versions and they'll just run more bots per PC. It wont change a thing.
You want solutions? A single character online per IP at the same moment across all servers. The traffic will not exceed 800-1000 players per server.

+1.
ipban china from isro and we'd be set. all they really have to do is ban goldbots .player bots aren't a big deal.

i found that some, if not most player bots babysit there bot. so i think there still can be a player community if the goldbots are banned

If a server opened for my country i'd still stay in isro
Think about it this way, I write in english fairly well so why would I get together with the people of my country who dont write in english well enough? They're not the brightest bunch you know. I tend to avoid them everywhere on the net.
BTW this also explains why we get so many retarded turks on isro : the game is translated in turk therefore all the turks can play it without trouble... in the end we are getting the mainstream turk gaming population on isro whereas we would get only the turks who can stand playing a game in english if it hadn't been translated in turk.
You could argue that the game is translated in german too yet the german population is very correct:)
