Bot banning EVERYDAY!

This is kinda great news:

[New Restriction of Illegal Program Usage Punishment is applied]
Hello. This is Silkroad Online.
As the campaign had been going on, the new policy of Bot Punishment is applied.
Illegal Program Users would be detected instantly.
Any illegal program users will be punished and the new list would be posted at 17:00 based on Silkroad Online Standard Time, everyday.
Joymax recommends you not to use any of the illegal programs. When you keep using illegal program, you will be banned permanently from Silkroad Online.
The list of Bot Punishment can be viewed on Silkroad Online official website by clicking "Anti-Bot Policy on Illegal Program Users in Silkroad Online Notice".

LOL now thats a list. We will see soon if they really go through with it. If so, expect 300/3500 servers.
edit. oh wait it's only 3800 for all the servers.. good start anyways.

Well... they will probably do what they promise "ban bots everyday" but the question is... how many?
If its only like 50-100 bots everyday then its like nothing.... this is accounts though instead of the normally char bans.
We can only hope that this system is 100% automated and do ban all the abusers

37 x 3500 + 2000 = 131500 loggin in chars atm (but there are also people trying to log in)
3805 acc on 1st strike
2.89% is on 1st strike if all servers full; so maybe 2% (prolly less) are on 1st strike today.
if they ban 3000 acc every day, by day 4-5 servers shouldn't be full anymore.
The thing is, how soon after 1st strike will people get 2nd strike? WILL they even do 2nd strike?
Goldbots just keep coming & coming (maybe they will give up after some time?).
And last but not least, GNGWC is still busy! So I wouldn't be surprised if botblocks stop after GNGWC finishes.

- Location: Pusan (G-star exhibition Hall)

The 2nd strike can apply after 7 days. The first strike is 7 days. Then they will start botting again and get 2nd strike and then at last the 3rd strike
Well i am still very skeptic though

Actually i thought that they only banned the chars before.. didn't they ?
Is the servers down or what ? when i start my launcher it says that they are undergoing inspection...

woot finally some action:D it is more exciting than all Roc update:p
If they will continue like this goldbots will disapear soon, 3k bots isnt much.. but if they will do everyday than goldbotters will just give up, cause till they make some nice lvl they get ban again.
And nobody have to ban normal botters, they will not make server crowded.

Just deleting the char.
But i have no experience about it... don't know.. is the server up ?

lol, yesterday I sent them an email asking why they haven't posted the bot ban list in 3+ weeks... and now they show us this... cool.
It means gold bots companies with lose a lot of gold

it is pathetic, but the same thing happened in 2008. before gngwc joymax was going to fix everything and after the gngwc... nothing..

They've always banned accounts, but just listed the specific character from that account that was found botting. If they only banned characters, then if you had an account with 2 legits on it and 3 bots, they'd have to let you log in, but have the banned bot characters on the character select screen either removed, or sitting down for deletion or something.
Instead, your imabot character might be banned, but you can't even log into the main account.
This is great news though, bans every day. I'm lovin' it!

they also started kicking (dunno if it's banning not yet confirmed) multiclient users
guildy got 2 chars kicked with a notice to download and reinstal sro
guildy is still trying to get his noobs in
no notice that his acca's are banned for 7 days (yet)
strange thing, not all his multiclients are kicked... 2/5 kicked lol

The most important thing that all the non-botters here on SRF are not realizing is:
:::Joymax should be giving out permanent bans for all botters especially those that reached the cap. Us naturals are being treated unfairly when botters are allowed to stay (with 3 strike warnings). Botters made the caps and have had most of the fun this game has to offer with some of the best gears and weapons.
The whole thing is like one big car rally race with a lot of people that's way ahead in the lead that cheated. And now that the rules are being enforced those cheaters are still allowed to keep their position in the race. Its ridiculous.:::
