anyone knows how the new bot banning system works.
1st time you bot, 7 days ban
2nd time you bot, 14 days ban
3rd time you bot, permanentat

that sounds like evryone is going to bot until their 2nd warning and then stop.
but after you got your 1st 7 day ban, does joymax put you on a sort of blacklist they check for botting everday or something?

It will probably work like it did before, they use to have this system a long time ago.

Maybe a GM will find a few random ppl botting, and give em the first strike, no one will get a 2nd, then eventually it will get phased out like any other rule enfocrment in Sro ;d.

its gonna be something like this:

1st time: please dont bot
2nd time: im warning you!
3rd time: Disconnect

Lets wait untile they release Legend IV PLus, and then see the bt ban list...

Every time theres a client update, its like isro takes a huge shit of goldbots, and theres no traffic for 1-2 days

The five steps of making money:

1. Make a game, get people to play it and get them to publish it for you.
2. Let people create bots, overflow the servers and make the legits unhappy.
3. Create a solution that gets rid of the non-paying legits and make the paying legits pay even more.
4. Ban a few goldbots every now and then to rebuild the interest in the game.
5. Go back to #2.

Is this going to work? because I didn't see a GM online ever.
and c'mon, gold bots have the same path, they walk in the same direction, they stop at the same spots... I'm talking about the classic gold bots (HAHAHA they're now part of the environment).
JM should be able to ban those bots just by record their movement.

But... what about those at Ishade?
I saw them this weekend. I've never been there because I use heavy armor.

A long time ago they banned a few actual player bots for a week or so, as soon they got unbanned they would be botting again too lol, then nothin ever happened again, and they just stopped doin it and went on to do the bs gold bot bannings.

I know someone who actually got banned for racist globals waaaay back in 70 cap xD
