This is my first time to use autologin, and I am trying to get in, so I can activate my premium. I have already pre-purchased one, and was not able to activate it in time. I have read in most posts here and in Silkroadforums that it takes 3-4 hours to login. One said that you do autologin, and then go to sleep, wake up, you are in.

I tried to log in, and autologin started, but for a couple of times, I got DC after 3 hours. I credited the situation of not being able to log in to - maybe because it takes 4 hours to log in... but my next attempt has me befuddled... I have not been DC and it has been 14 hours already since the autologin started. I have not yet logged in. hmmmm... I have a clean PC, clean installation, and a clean account(never botted). Yet I can not log in..

My question is directed to my fellow players who are more experienced in this matter...

How do I know if the SRO software is still trying to log in? I can see connection activity, and netstat -a shows an established link. Do I have to stop the autologin after an x number of hours, and try again? Is there really a timeline, where first to go autologin will be the first in the queue, and thus will be able to log in? I noticed that after a while, I do not see the "Requesting User information" notice..." does this mean it actually stopped trying to log you on?


I have started to log in at August 14, 8:40pm SILKROAD TIME, and have not yet been able to log in until now August 15, 2:20pm silkroad time, when I got DC. I have restarted again. I am trying to log in to Pacific Server. Is there a workaround to logging in? I used to be able to log in to pacific in 1 - 2 hours, just patiently clicking enter, until i can get in, but this seems so hard.

I'd appreciate answers.... I'm starting to get frustrated....

Everything that makes money to Joymax is useless, Magic PoP Card was a Fail, Devil's Spirit was a Fail, Auto Login was a Fail and Lie.

If it stops giving the line 'requesting user information' it stopped logging in and you'll have to restart the client. Best thing you can do it try to get on the 3rd/4th log in server, those are usually a bit faster to log you in. Although I don't have the link to that topic right now, you can try search I guess. Or wait till tuesday after the inspection xD

It is an actual line. Reason why it can't be considering a 'real' line is, because there is 3~4lines. Accepts 1 in each line then to the next. It's just fail, because of all the gold bots that are trying to log in with people logging in their gold bots that can make them like 10mil a day. Ohh sooo much!

yea on rev6 or idk where they tested that theres 4 awaiting lines 2 are for normal players with less traffic, the other 2 are for goldbots with a lot of traffic. so u must have anyway luck to get in the right one. also u can check another thing, if on ur client there isnt a red message who appears every 20 secs saying something with "cannot connect" or w/e ure in a bug and ure not logging in. i dunno if this is fixed.

Maybe it's just pluto, or heck im the luckiest guy on this forum...

I've seen countless numbers of posts about guys complaining that it takes forever to log into the server...

The longest time it took for me to get in the server was 30minutes :|

Maybe it's just that pluto has less population than the other servers, but when I look on rev6, they are all the same...

I might be lucky with logging in, but alchemy is another thing lol

Failed a ring about a total of 20 times to +4...If not more. But yeah, got my sword back to +5 with 8 elix today. Alchemy is just too random.

120 weapon elixirs to ge tmy sun spear back to +5, failed to +6 lost my immo, and i got a sos lv 90 spear, made it +5 with 9 elixirs left -_-

I'm not 100% sure of this but I think one of the log in server has infinite loop. Meaning it will just keep on trying to log in forever. How did can I say this? Like I said, I'm not 100% sure but few days ago, I tried to log in 2 of my chars. One logged on after 45 mins or so, the other hasn't after 5 hrs. I was trying to log in both to plvl my noob but I gave up after 5 hrs on the other one. I happen to get the IP for that log in server and it's the one that ends with 28. So far, I have not used that log in server anymore and was able to log in both of my char and max i've waited on the longest is 2hrs. Yah, could be wrong on this one but won't realy hurt to avoid one log in server and so far it works for me.

I tried 30, I tried 29, I am currently using 28... still no dice, I am still trying to log in until now. One thing I don't understand though, is this... I was monitoring Pacific Traffic at rev6 at the same time, and there was a moment where, in four refreshes, there was actually a vacancy at pacific server. the number went down to 3467, 3464, 3471, 3465 - and i was doing autologin. if, during that time, there were vacancies, all the others in the queue would have gotten in, as it takes but 2 seconds to get in. then, duri ng the third refresh, I should have gotten in... but I was still logging in ... as I watched the rev6 stats go up to 3502.

Does location affect my connection then? I think I am near the farthest point to connection to Korea.

I guess there are no JM techie employees who will ever bother reading forums, so I will have to rely on the knowledge of my more experienced fellow players.

Not each.

Ok.... I tried all, as advised... and the only one untried is to wait for tuesday, and simply log in at the moment the server comes back online. (Pacific Server is the one of the servers consistently filled with traffic long before gold bots came into play.) I don't think i can do that at work. See you all legits of pacific when I can. You all know how long before that would be.

u can observe ur internet connection with programms as netlimiter. this alows u to see what that informations are send and recived to the internet, so ull know if the autologin still works or not (just see the peaks on outgoing trafic)

there isnt 2 lines for bots and 2 for players... because if the bots thought it was harming there chances theyd change theres too wouldnt they?
the line might have been faster but the chances are every1 knows and the lines probably slower in the long run now.

the system doesnt seem to queue you in a line but more like queue you along a line...
ie instead of giving you a number (you are 192 in the queue)
it is like (you are in queue 4) and the queues go down according to the size of the queues... so if the queues were at
q1 50
q2 80
q3 70
q4 60
it would say queue 2 has more chance on getting in next then queue 1 etc... i dno if thats how it works but it seems like it.

I just buy a Premium, to hell with the login system.

The Login servers get bugs sometimes, this past inspection (5mins before inspection) I was login and restarted cuz I was bug, try to login and ALL servers were populated, but I was place on a "Line" it was not a loop cuz the server still send loging request every 20 secs. I close the client, try again, same thing, I start the client on my laptop and it let me in instantly, I cancel the login and try again on my desktop, place me on a "line" again, restart client, same thing, I try my laptop again, I login, cancel, relog and it work, but it would NOT let me login with my desktop even though servers were populated. (I didn't bother to check what loging server my laptop/desktop was using)

Auto login is not working ! There is no queue in sro, auto login is just an auto Enter presser each 15 secs or so ! You cant complain in sro (its worthless)! Play another game.

before it i could log in only during 2 or 3 hours at night
now i can login at any hour
and i dont have to keep trying to log in
i just leave it on and it logs me in while i do something else
it takes one to two hours

It fails because of how it's distributed. Pick a wrong login servers and enjoy waiting days before getting on. Have fun watching your comp overheat just trying to log in to a game.

It fails again because it often bugs out. I've had it happen several times. You think you're all good, leave, come back, realize that it hasn't been sending the request.

It wins only when you choose the correct sever and don't bug once you finally find it.

auto login

i had my computer on last night so my char would be online when i would wake up, when i woke up, the farking thing was still trying to connect 8 HOURS! what's happening in Xian? normally i'm in within 2 hours or so :| connection server :30

I was finally able to log in. On A tuesday, after the server went up, and for two hours, I was placed in a loop(if that is what we can call it, until I was able to enter, and activate my premium. Truei, you are just plain lucky. Rhetoric, Yup, I did buy premium, but I was not able to activate it before I my internet connection got cut because of a damn W32 virus that activated and tried to flood my internet connection.

Anyway, I am still enjoying the game, and as luck have it, dropped my first SOS drop after 1 hour grinding at the moles. I dropped an SOS 8D Chin necklace(Any buyers?). I rarely drop items( probably because I usually grind at monsters higher than my level).
