I don't get it...with the amount of "server traffic" in this game how on earth is JM gaining new business? Do you remember a time when lots of players used to play this game? That number has decreased a lot since then...those players have moved on. Who is replacing them?

Every F2P MMO that I've ever tried I was able to log on easily and started playing. If I was new to SRO and saw that I couldn't log on I wouldn't even bother with it. So how does JM make their money if a lot of prospective players are just gonna give up since they cant log on to even see for themselves how good this game is?

If JM allowed the purchase of, and activation of a premium card offline (as oppose to logging in to buy it and activate it) Then I'd understand..But then they couldn't call their game F2P.

They don't get new players...Well maybe a few every month or something. It's mostly old players making new chars and buying prem's/pets and stuff for them.

It probably has something to do with human curiosity.

Sure it may take forever to log in. But your going to wonder why so many people want to play SRO. It must be really good if there's a line. So you wait forever, finally log in. And then your hooked.

They don't, seriously the only reason I even heard of this game is from a friend years ago, and I have no idea how he even found about this game..

I mean really at all other gaming forums I've been I've never heard anyone say anything about silkroad, this game isn't really popular, it's just a group of the same people botting 10 different character builds at once, and botting a bunch of gold bots at the same time...

This. all new players go to pservers after getting pwnd by traffic and hard lvling

The only "new" player I've seen are friends of current player. They join because their friends are powerfarming or powerlvling their own character and join in to be a high lvl. I usually talk to ppl that are in my lvl since i pvp a lot. They all tell me that they're either someone else that's already capped, or their friend invited them to play and made this character for them. No more true legits starting off fresh and alone. Either your friends help you shoot through the low lvls, or no other new players.

rly, I see alot of banners of other mmorpgs, but at least I dont remember to see even 1 of SRO, I started to play this game, because in a conversation a m8 told me the pros and cons, about the game, I decided to give it a try.

Server Traffic is what make the new players REALLY want to have a glimpse of whats in it.
Server Traffic is what make current players buy premium.

They dont, as soon as someone quits a gold botter takes their spot

Well this is not a game. Its a Business. I think JM have this all planned out
