Well I got this chest for 150m white...and I +ed it and blued it up...but it doesnt seem to make a difference in the dmg I take from pure str..I mean I pvped 2 guildies (both pure str) and it seemed like it didnt make a difference much at all in the dmg I took from them. The chest I had before this is a lvl 96 +5 FB prot chest..

My question: Is there really that big a difference in lvl 100 chest/legs than 96 ones..and is it worth spending a whole bunch of gold on them?

Well, dmg you take and dmg they dish out aren't really constant. Too many factors to consider, but normally if it was a protector chest 96, this armor should have a lot more pdef tho about just the same mdef as the 96 Prot one.

the lvl 100 armor chest has about 25-30 less mag defense then the prot chest..but right now the % is 0...im going to try and make it around 61%+ then maybe it will have about the same

96 and 100 isn't that significantly different...however this is only 1 piece.

if u had the 100 chest and legs and necklace against 96 versions u would notice a big difference.

Accessories play a larger role in how much damage you take. If I were you, I'd get the 3rd tier accessories before trying to acquire the hard to get 3rd tier armor/pro/garm.

3rd tier necklace is lvl 100 too, and probably more expensive than the chest/legs.

Which reminds me... has anyone seen a lvl 100 necklace yet? a screenshot would be nice, I've seen a lvl 98 ring drop at medusa and 99 earrings at SoSo, but not a necklace.. yet
maybe better to do trades for them I guess

Ive already got 98 rings and 99 earrings... all absorbtions 41% and higher...and all +5 FB my necklace is 96...lvl 100 ones are very very rare...I actually made my current 99 earrings +7..but sold them

Meh, with my force I don't really need too high % and I CBA to pimp all those whites. Don't have the patience for that cuz you'll always fck up other stats etc. lol

Once I got 80% phy def after I used a stone for fun (got it from destroying some weps). Next stone I used assimilated it back to 0 =.=

well 41-61% is enough for me...and its fun doing alchemy on accessories...cause there isnt much to fck up...the only blues that need to be 100% really ...are freeze and str and int ...the others its good to have 100% but they dont really matter when you have fire shield emperor

my sister got 2 x euro 100 necklace from medusa hehe
and there was a chinese 100 necklace drop not long ago...
these are the only known necklace i know on my server anyways
