yeah SREmu, it used to be open source and people could download it.
I don't know now, but it used to work like this:
You downloaded the package, and followed a tutorial to get it started.
Once in, you were basically admin, you could spawn w/e you wanted including weps and armour.
You were the only one in the server but you could get mutiple people in there, but it needed work by the other people.
You had to change the source on both emulators so they connected to the same host IP, i.e. If you wanted to play with me so we could PvP or w/e you'd have to change your source to connect to my IP, it wasn't hard.
How much people you could have in you're server depended on you;re connection, like I have 8.5mb so I could handle, I don't know, like 20 people (not sure).
I remember some people used to advertise their private servers but they were only SREmu's run off their comp.
Anyway, good luck.
EDIT - OMG, I forgot you ahve to use Hamatchi to connect!

Why do you want to play full offline silkroad version, why not some other sro version?
iSRO - Server traffic, I guess thats out of question
cSRO - nothing wrong about it - instant log in + able to buy silk items in stalls
vSRO - 3 hours of playing only - instant log in + able to buy silk items in stalls
tSRO - prolly best version to play, nice english speaking community - instant log in + able to buy silk items in stalls
ecSRO/Fembria - increased SP/EXP, but private server, meh, server traffic.
SwSRO - increased SP/EXP, still will update (statuses, snow shield), horrible lag, highest exp/sp, 1 hit log in.
So, if I were you, I'd play tSRO.

ecSro VIP is traffic-less

(But yeah u gotta pay to get an account... Unless u won one at the contest they held a while ago (like me

))

and i would quite like too play alone. at least i cant get fking ks'ed by gold bots.
bad thing about csro. you can buy a bot. the game wasnt build for a damn bot. if you cant level up on this game i dont understand just dont play it.

its pretty much impossible to make a game like this that isnts bot friendly, the simple in and out of information makes for most any game to be "built for a bot." the only deciding factor on the existance of bots is the game creators and gms themselves.
