I am cleric..but i like bard..speed .. phy aborbtion nd noise.

Cleric for heals, phys/mag def increase, bless.

Cleric. MM can always be replaced by pots.

i no but i was just asking what is more fun to play with..i think bard cause of speed also.

Cleric can go sub bard for only MM and noise if you really want.

Yes, I grind mostly using bard as it hits faster.

i never see ppl use bard to attack monsters..they always switch to their main class. but i did see a lvl 90 bard .. he was doing good

My bro has a bard and I'm a 2h.
I can't pt with him because he's at lvl 21 and I'm at 60 but the other day I played a little with his bard.

It was amazing, not only because of moving march, they don't need mp pots, they can paralyze mobs and they can take their hp as mp.

They've interesting nukes and buffs, like hit march. Bards are not only good for moving march or noise.
I'd like to see more bards than just warriors or wizards.

I think a cool build should be bard/cleric... I've no exp but one friend has a char with that build and you keep looking at her all the time and Guardia guide about bards it's really helpful and I think it's the best guide i've ever read.

Anyway, my bro is trying it. I'm not going to quit my 2h.

Edit: btw, their nukes has no delay time as opposite to the wizards.

idk, you kind of need a cleric and bards are just awesome to have around.

I'd rather two tambours and a dance over STR + int and cleric defense buffs.

umm waw.. bard/cleric wud be a really gud build..cleric only for rec division and bless spell..so i dnt have to need crzy sp..or just bard alone is a reall gud build..i shud try it.

reading your semi-finished words is annoying, and yeah, Bard/Cleric is great character, but not as main one, since you'll suck at pvp. But its good for preparing for your main character, capped Bard is fastest ong powerleveler and with mana cycle/orbit its complete free of cash.

This is a little off topic, but:
-taking hp as mp at a high level is nice, as it's absolute damage, but your bard nukes do MUCH more.
-paralyzing a mob only works once; as soon as you attack it again it's able to attack back.
-Mana Cycle is why we don't need pots. ^_^
-A cool build is indeed a bard/cleric <points to sig, hehe>, if you're looking for party play. The downside is that not a lot of players understand what's possible with a bard. Definitely a great support class.
-Yes, much faster casting time, but wiz get more AOE spells. It works out pretty well though; a bard is a very capable powerleveler in the right hands.
-Don't forget, a bard also has discord wave (when it works right) to reduce aggro.

Both bards and clerics are decent characters. But when it comes to buffs, the cleric should have a slight edge as a pure bard can't heal, and bless is a powerful buff.

With decent equipment and blues, yep.

As for PVP, bard in robes has nice mag def but very little phys. Cleric has the shield, so can tank nicely, but it's difficult to time it right. Bard/cleric can take a lot of hits as long as you don't get critted, but it's tough to kill someone unless you get a perfectly timed offering.

Well for having one at quite high level, bard/cleric or cleric/bard are quite nice to play. Bard damage isn't low like some players think. Two hits and a mob is gone, it's around the same damage as a warlock (but without the DOT's) and with the cleric buffs later you can tank mobs quite well.

You can't compare to wizzard damage especially not for the AOE damage. Nothing compares to that.

But the build is very good in parties. If you like party playing in the way of supporting a group, bard/cleric is best build. If your party is a bit carefull and takes a small break you can even buff them speed that lasts very long (but most of your cleric protections are gone), rebuff as cleric and continue the party. And because you are full int you don't run out of SP points.

SP points? MP maybe - that's what mana cycle is for.

Bard/cleric depending on which way you lean does take a fair bit for a lvl 100 build. If you lean battle bard with a minor cleric (no attack skills, just bless, heals, res, recovery division) it's not quite as bad.

I think a full bard/full cleric takes close to a million, but then again a warlock/cleric needs quite a bit too.

umm i wana try bard/cleric...but servers are full nd i wud rather go on main..maybe i will try the most non full server..maybe iris or something.

Sure, I just played with it like 3 hours and it was quite relaxing.
I haven't seen too many bards in Iris and when I was doing a pt the others members were amazed by my bro skills, seriously...

With my 2h I have had just one time the pleasure to pt with a bard and she got me amazed too.
I miss her when I'm in a pt... she lvl up and left me behind.
I saw her like two weeks ago and she lvl me up a bit because she wanted to... she looked so AWESOME!

omg, not all is moving march and noise.

Well, a bard/cleric doesn't really become a LOT of fun until you get all the nukes which IIRC is level 60. At 40 you have two nukes and you can get recovery division which makes soloing easier.

Just decide beforehand what you'll lean towards. A bard sub cleric is imho more fun.

Try Venus. I know it's still decent and you may get into some parties.

Bard/Cleric is very good build for pt or solo. I dont know about pvp coz I never pvp in it. I used to solo in Jangan cave and it's doing just fine at lvl 83 with most mobs same lvl or 2 lvl higher even sometimes with a giant.

umm all i need now is a good server..and easier to get in to than uranus.

At high lvl, Bard hands down.
Nothing compares to constant 44%% damage reduction and 42% damage increase.

A bard can take 98% of a mob HP and a wiz takes the remaining 2% with 1 hit, u know who gets the drop/gold>>>>>Wizard, but the bard gets most of the exp. most builds take 2 atks to a kill a mob, even if the 1st atk takes 95% of the mob HP and the 2 hit the remaining 5%, if a wizard atks ur mob before u get the 2 atk, and that wizard is able to "overkill" the mob, once again >>>> wizard gets the drop/gold

Oh yes. Bards are incredible ks'ers lol. At ongs, nothing is faster, or atleast as far as I've seen. Maybe a level 100 Nuker with shouts.... lol.
