This thread was inspired by another thread that talked about KSRO getting a fort in Hotan. Since Hotan is the busiest city of them all, the amount of gold that would be gained from taxes in that city would be ridiculously large(billions perhaps). My question to all SRF members is this. How would you feel knowing that 90% of all that gold which you'll be sharing amongst your friends came from gold bots...Do you think by owning the fort in some way (whether unintentionally or indirectly) makes you a bot supporter? Will you still complain about gold bots?...

This question goes out to all current fort holders as well...

As of right now, DW and Jangan are the most busy from what I can tell because of the Chin Tomb.

Well, as long as JM doesnt fix the goldbug, there will be 0 Gold for fortowner of HT ^^
There is a bug, that if the income is (uh, rly cant remember, but i think) ~4B or better, then you can not get the gold from the NPC at fort.

When I'm inside Chin's Tomb the majority of bots that comes in are player bots. But with hotan as we all can see, the Mujigi, Penons and sonars are littered with gold bots...not to mention the takla desert. Thats why I believe Hotan to be the most busiest. From that there will be tons of gold to be made by any union that holds a fort there.

gold bots might tend to seek another resort for cheaper stuff by going to samarkand to maximize their profit.

i'd still be against them either way, they are joymax's associates..

That's not bot supporting at all, that's taking gold away from gold bots. It's the same as using a thief to kill bots and picking up there pots and shit, it's the complete opposite of supporting because you are taking their stuff.

Its not bot supporting in the conventional means yes. Meaning you don't go out of your way to advocate in favour of bots being there. But consistently gaining from them being there and not caring might be seen as kind of hypocritical support. Don't u agree? somewhat? Yes no?

Last time i checked, the max gold you can get from taxes is 1bil, and i'm pretty sure most towns reach that anyways

I added 1 more option to the list to incorporate the far side of peoples opinions despite the fact some of us (including myself) will think that they're just being hypocritical. I gotta be fair.

if i were the fort's owner, i wouldn't give a f*ck where my money comes from.

it takes effort to siege and then defend a fort...why should it matter where the revenue comes from afterwards?

pretty much sums it up,
you've pretty much teamed up with a whole gang of botters and goldbuyers to even get the fort in the first place, getting gold from more botters wont make much of a difference.

there was 6.5bil the week we took it
and a couple days before the next FW there was 4 bil in there

hotan will make more money because thats where a large percentage of the gold bots are based out of. most player bots go through donwhang so they don't have to deal with taxes. gold bots that run through jangan are buying small pots and low lvl gear, so not as much money where as the gear in hotan is expensive. the goldbots there are buying larger pots cause they're higher lvl. there will be A LOT more gold coming from hotan.

Then this bug is fixed. but this bug was existing, as i told with around ~4B of income the unionleader could click on the button to get gold but nothing happened. happened on 4-5 servers i heard (and seen).

Hmm, is it rlly such a bad thing to earn gold from Botters? isnt it a good way to "damage" them? if the taxes are +20% they get less profit from botting and ...

wtf, how is taking gold from botters a bad thing? Surely its a good thing, if a legit uni can take FW at hotan, then that is imo....the best possible outcome on any server!

Yess, taking gold from botters is the best, but if I owned it, I would share it amongst all legits of Poseidon.
I would make sure they are legit, or just look up names on SRF and hand them some.

Whats the differnce? there goldbots in every town, and for it looks of it there will be more FW so theres no really a point, if you want your guild be the best you got go for the FW, there really nothing you can do about goldbots..and isnt like you soport them....

didnt you know, about 80% of weapons,elixirs,cos,armor and other items comes from goldbots
goldbots bot, get items, and they set clientless stalls or smth
