Do you play silkroad with the sounds on or off?

I just turned the sounds on and I think they are not that bad, the only thing I hate is the screaming of the characters when they are hit by a mob -_-
Ice nukes sounds pretty cool tho
(Yes I use ice nukes
).
So, do you have the sounds turned on or off?

I've had it off since about the second week of me playing 2 years ago.
They are stupid.. hitting the mobs.. and being hit. Its too retarded.
So, OFF.. my iTunes is my Silkroad Music.

i only turn the music off
i have effects and stuff, does it realyl reduce lag if its all set off? lol, i understand how music might, but small sound effects isnt gonan really help much is it?

When ur in hotan, and u hear all those ppl spawning on the spawn point, that's the main reason why I have it turned off.

Erm.. music off everything else on, but I listen to music while grinding.. music is louder anyway.
Turn it off while jobbing and at medusa, I'm guessing you guys don't which is kinda fail imo. Sound is an important part of group pvp; invisible wizards, that bower behind you charging a skill, enemy getting ressed etc.
Oh and medusa's petrify skill makes a weird sound, I fight her with my view facing away from her and as soon as I hear that cringing sound I run. You'd be screwed if she did a double petrify and you couldn't hear it :\.

When I'm listening to music I turn off the music ingame. I like the Taklamakan music though. Half the time I'm too lazy to turn on my music so I listen to the ingame music. My mom loves the Samarkand music >.> She walked in to the room while I was setting up my stall in Sam and heard the music she was like: "That music is beautiful!" lol
Edit: I also feel like something is missing when I turn off all the sound.

once remembered (lol) to turn on, and i just loved sounds of dual axe skills
better with sounds definately, in cape pvp can hear if someone is attacking from the back

Yes, I personally prefer to play without the music... It's so boring.
Most of the time I put a CD, my favorite bands are the ones who plays ska but since this weekend was not good for me I keep on playing N4 from Stone Temple Pilots.

i found that too many sound were stolen from diablo 2 and it irritated me, so i turned off the sound...

Turned off, of course. How can I stand earing for 5 or 6 hours the same sounds, when I can be listening Avantasia, Blind Guardian, Edenbridge, Epica, Helloween, Lordi, Nightwish, Nota Profana, Rhapsody, Sonata Arctica, Symphony X, Within Temptation..... and a looooooong etc?????

When I started I listened to the music,now I listen to guild members in ventrilo. every now and then I will turn it on when I want to reminisce in jangyan or hear the Christmas music..keeping sounds on for jobbing however is important for me.
The pounding of the horses hoofs racing towards me seeking revenge!
The squeal of my Ox as crude hunters attack it..etc
