My first +5 ever in 4 years of playing this game. My character, Shinken, isn't very luck. This pretty much proves that some characters just have better luck. I could never get this harp past +4 and most item i pimped never went past 3 or 1. It was pretty sad. My friend told me to try out his "special" character, and amazingly, it worked. My very first +5 item ^_^.

Just thought I'd share.

hehe ty ^^. I got that harp last year and been slowly dumping elixirs and stones into it ever since. I think it cost me 10 mil to buy and spent like 80 mil to pimp so far >_>. It's crazy.

Nice, I never pimped anything untill 10D cuz I used to buy pimped/+5ed stuff but all that shit is so expensive now on 10D so I made them myself ^^ (+5ed my set/pimped it etc). It felt great when I was done.

My very first +5 was a harp too. A lv 64 sos harp dropped at karras while i was plvling my friend's char. I managed to +5 it. It was about 1 year ago. Few days ago i bought a lv 94 staff and managed to +5 it too i was so happy ^^

i still get scared going to +5 dont worry xD

One of my chars +5 items pretty easily and my other one has trouble +3ing (sometimes even +2ing) something. So unless I had all low luck items on that 2nd char (which is unlikely) some chars have a higher luck rate than others.

I remember me and a friend buying lots of weps, and trying 200 elixers on em, just coz we HAD to make a +5, god i was glad i made a +5, finaly
With a new char of mine, it became so easy +5 ed my own entire set, my friend's set, and an other friends set.
+7 has awalys been a bitch to me though

gratz my first +5 was no big deal because i did it out of rage lol since then ive made a couple +5 sets in total and just +5 my 90 glaive but i don't play anymore so it's a waste.

Gratz. I will not have quite the appreciation for a +5 as you did considering I got my first +5 on a drop >_< Was a +5 Lvl. 18 spear. had some good bonuses too. Man I wish I had gotten that lucky on a higher degree.

If I even had SRO installed and if I could log in without spending two hours typing my name and password, I'd show you my +7 bow and +8 pants.

I dunno, certain items are luckier that i know. But the character itself has something to do with it to. On my character, I could never get that harp past +4. It would go pretty quickly, 1234 many times, but never +5. That character also has trouble getting past +3 most of the time. With my friend's character, I could get to 4 easily and as you can see, 5 as well. Items have a luck %, but so do the characters I think. If not, why would that harp which would not go past +5 with 100+ elixirs, on my character, went to +5 in 2 elixirs on my friends...

I've tested it out too. I can never get an acc past +3 on my character, but that one gets it to +4 in 1 shot usually. Other people I know also have all the luck. I know lempi made a shit load of +6 the other day, and my other friend has always been lucky, +7 like it was +3. He goes and buys random item,s put in 7 elixirs and half the time they end up +7. Some items are luck, and so are some ppl i think.

+5 is relatively easy, if you have P+ ect. about 5-70 elixirs max if it don't +5 npc it (not soX) or sell it.

those with gold will make a lot of gold, those who lack it, can only hope for success.
