Edit: techinques used were very good as well, it just wasnt some1s killing uniques video, it was almost a story, and good timing between actions and song choice.

Yes the Venture video has nice effects... his idea of the project was to make it a "special effects movie" which is great and he did a good job. Respect for him, things you need to know about my "Medusa" video was (my first time inside the Jangang cave) i was not expecting to make a movie or video out of it I just started recording and didn't stop until i DC'ed so i then picked out each shot i wanted to use in this 8 min video. This video took me about 4 days to make (render time and upload time is included into that) The guy who made the Venture video spent almost 1 year making that video (and its only 4 min long). But yes for silkroad that has been the best editing i have seen.

Also, the Venture video was also made with Adobe After Effects, i only use Sony Vegas 8 Pro for all my videos, effects, text, and sound editing. I am also going to start using Adobe After Effects very soon.

Another thing to point out about the venture video, he had more then 3 points of perspective while recording his video (meaning he had more then just 1 camera running which i record only myself)

Just a little background for you guys.

about the 3 points, he somehow made gm view, because u just cant combine different angles
isro intro is smth like gm view, i dont know how he did it, but i know its not simple editing
at one point, hes hovering around the dragon in jangan cave, like just flying around it
try to film that in game, and its not in ANY sro trailer, so it means he made it

No its not GM view...

Hes using a loader that has unlimited Zoom where u can zoom out as far as you want.

Wow, how did i miss that ? Theres always something right? Haha well it took over 2 hours to render this video and another hour to upload it so i dont think im going to go threw all that again just to fix a few spelling errors. Sorry, guess i should of done a full walk through of the video before i released it.
