Ok this is really pissing me off...Ive been playing for about more than half a year without that ???? error but now ive been getting it alot lately...anyone got any solutions? Silkroad loads up then i click on my char and it goes into it and then crashes once im in town.....I just logged on like 5 min ago twice and i moved around then i was looking in storage for something and it just crashed...anyone got a solution for this? It really annoying for someone who doesnt have prem cause it takes such a long ass time logging in...

try updating drivers and also a thing that helped me was getting the sro fonts found in the vsro download page just go to the other sro versions and look around you should find it.

That has nothing to do with my fcking question you retard...Wouldnt matter if I had prem or not I would still crash..Im just saying its more annoying that I dont have prem and it keeps crashing on me...sorry I dont feel like spending all my money on a game just to log in...
EDIT: Btw lady_shadows ive gotten the most recent nvidia driver update for my card...What I dont get is how I just randomly start crashing out of nowhere...

That error usually is resolved by updating your drivers. Though it can also be that your video card is being overstressed. So you can try to turn down the graphics if updating drivers doesn't work.

Buying a prem will NOT solve his problem. He's asking on how to fix his ??? crash's. Theres no point in buying a prem if all hes gonna do is crash once he logs in. Try to downgrade your drivers, perhaps your new update is interfering with silkroad or reinstall silkroad. You might also want to try Lady_Shadows suggestion.

Thx for all the positive and helpful replies guys....I havent crashed in about 2 hours so hopefully all is good...all i did was restart comp and then like my computer did a disk cleaning or something...idk..but its fixed for now atleast

Might have been that certain spot...It's not unusual that an area in sro is 'bugged' and people dc alot there.

I Normaly got ????? Error if I go to Cons at bank and press "Talk to this pearson" and before window chanches i'll press "Use Storage", game Starts to lag and after 1 min it gives me ????? Error. When I Had old computer Updating my drivers helped. Now I Haven't got ????? Error for Months.

Orphen could be right. what kind of video card to you have and what is your settings in game. also do you have good air flow in your case? 1 fan pulling air in and one blowing out? i have a total of 10 fans in my new pc(cpu, north/south bridge, psu & 7 case). ya over kill i know, but they are on fan controllers and switches. if your drivers are up to date then i would lean to heat as the problem.
also as someone said downgrade your drivers could be a conflict with the new driver and sro, it is not uncommon for that to happen with a game and new drivers.

Client still crashes, it just doesnt show the error msg anymore.

Run a registry cleaner and a defragger. Always seemed to work for me. I prefer cccleaner and defraggler, just google them.

Well the problem was getting the ??? error right? After deleting the silkerrsender you dont have that problem anymore because you won't get the error XD It did help for me though, never have a crash just the occasional dc like one's every 3 days or so

guys whats the point in being assholes hes asking a question at least hes not shouting at the rest of us for one reason or another and seeing as we hav very few legits on this damn forum id hate to loose another!
maybe you have got a problem with the silkroad patching. i had it once when the icon that offended turks was still left on my pc every time i moved in samarkand i crashed... i waited for another patching and nt even a restall helped that so.. maybe u should hold of a little longer. otherwise your pc might be getting hot?
google speedfan and install that. your gfx card may be over heating. just some suggestions there m8
