[Weekly Inspection] Weekly Server Inspection Notice Jun 02, 2009
Hello. This is Silkroad Online.

In order to maintain a pleasant gaming and smooth patching experience, all servers will be undergoing weekly server inspection.

Weekly server inspection will occur every Tuesday.

Game Inspection Period : June 2, 2008 13:00~16:30 Silkroad Standard Time (3 hour 30 minute duration)

[Patch]
- Massive bot punishment will be done.
- Change in login system
(Image code verification system will be removed)
- Improvement in chatting system
(Blocking inappropriate use of in Turkish and Arabic)

I'm guessing that means they are going to block Turkish and Arabic curse words now?

Just saw this too as I was checking the time. Wonder what turks will use to insult ppl now? Will they revert to spamming an incoherent mix of turk and english?

I'm curious to see what the system will be. I doubt a waiting in line system will be implemented. Most likely it will be like the ole days before they implemented it. If it doesn't work, you just get the "Cannot connect due to server traffic" although with their current system, We'll prob just get auto-DC.

Although when they change their system, we often get to stay on and retry. Although they usually fix it after a few days or at the next inspection.

Damn, now login is even more bad, it's easy to make a script and spam enter like in ecsro...

I don't get it. Isn't suppoused to be more easy to log without the code verification system?

so does this prove that Joymax supports bots, or have they finally realized that there was so many ways around it for bots that it has become a useless waste of server resources for them?

well, they're deleting the captcha within the same week that a certain third party program released their auto-captcha program.

Probably overloaded their log in servers. So instead of upgrading hardware or finding a way to stop it they are just going to simply remove the captcha.

I could be completely wrong, but probably not.
