What makes you play Silkroad?

I just wanna know your opinion.
I personally think this game is addicting to most of people cause people think it can't get worse .

Community

Been on Venus for more than a year now and I love the whole journey and memories I made with a handful of people. I took breaks from the game and end up finding myself logging back on.

But now, I've lost all motivations to play the game. I only have it to play with the files and probably make a few videos.

The overall community sucks but if you can filter out all the assholes you can gather a pretty large group of good friends, which I have. Also the gameplay is great (except the outrageous exp/sp need but yeah). I think those two are the most addictive parts.

i hate the community
i hate the sp/exp rate
i hate the unfairness in this game (rich kids will always win)
i hate the lag
i hate the 24/7 crowded servers

I'm addicted to this game & i can't see a good reason .

last time i tried to quit only lasted for 5 months then came back . seems like i don't have the will power to quit once & for all yet .

Definatly cape pvp for me. Also the skills and the the way the game looks and feels when you pvp. It doesnt feel stupid like some mmos.

The endless grind for sp and exp also turns me on lol, as does the possibilites to get some really nice gear and the challenge (or luck) of obtaining and pimping them out.

The things i dont like are:

95% of the games community (still one day hoping for an all american/british server) but this wont ever happen lol.

The games bugs that cause you to disconnect are Farking intollerable sometimes (guildstorage dc bug, the stallnetwork dc bug, and the greatest of all - the assimilation dc bug). Other anoying bugs are in pvp mostly with warriors and classes that knockdown (but its 99% warriors) drives me crazy.

But my biggest hate of all..... Elixirs dont stack.

game isnt addicting anymore. for me, the problems that wont be never fixed hav surpassed all the pleasures and fun the game can offer, excepting playin/talkin with the friends i made playin sro for 4 years non-stop.

i just play cuz i hav a personal goal - be 90 or 92.

Mine used to be playing for pvp/jobbing but now pvp is reduced to 8v8's or 1vs multiple people with euros buffing/healing/blessing them and jobbing using unsuited buffers/healers etc.

I play now cause my friends and I won on the pop game and want to use it.

Gameplay, and the challenge and graphics. Thats probably i am coming back, but this no silk buying, waste of money. Playing for free, so i am not to play alot. only for boredom which is like never lol.

I play Silkroad because, every time i try another MMORPG i am always missing something that Silkroad got. Don't know what it is tho ......
