And if you still play, you don't buy Silk and you don't bot....... Then you need your head looking at.

There are better things you can be doing than playing Silkroad, and i don't want anyone to chirp on that i'm saying you should be botting. All i'm saying is you shouldn't be wasting your time on this sorry excuse for a 'game'.

Some people only play a few hours a day when they have nothing planned to do. So I don't see how that is "wasting your life" if you are doing something you enjoy. And just because Silkroad doesn't bring you the happiness and entertainment that it does others, why would you make another useless thread about how people should quit?

If you do have "better things to do" then why the fack are you sitting here talking to all of us that enjoy logging in and partying with friends or jobbing? Just some things off the top of my head.

The GD has and always will have the same merry-go-round of topics. It's inevitable. I enjoy noticing the small differences in each of the similar threads. Which in this case includes the OP being able to write correctly. Which is nice.

FYI, it took me all of 5 minutes to write.

And its correct, although it may have been posted countless time, if this thread gets just one person to consider stopping playing Silkroad and then actually stop playing.... It was worth the five minutes to write whilst i enjoyed my cup of tea.

You can already pick out the addicts and even the one supporter in this thread.

Sure you can play an hour or two a day. But what does that realy mean? Aproximatly an hour spent logging in unless you are a cheater that uses a loader or throwing away money on a premium. Now what over an hour gone and 1-2 hours left at best(praying you don't get DCed). So now you are logged in and lvl1. Lvls come semi easy and in only a week or two you will be 20 and ready to start the real focus of the game the triangular conflict with the rest of the community your level. Only you find out that there is no one really your level and the ones that are are either botting or getting plvled by friends. Perhaps you will get a sun botter to escort you on a trade but you will be on the ass end of a constant ass kicking from all the other sun bots.

Trust me I tried grinding up on venus. Never a party when I was on and I was in a good guild on a legit server. It was either train alone or search for a legitimate powerlevel pty. Lol as if. So I left again. Honestly op has it right. Unless you have friends on sro there is nothing for you. And even with friends the game has precious little to offer.

You are forgetting that Silkroad is a hobby, something of entertainment value. If it became more than a hobby for you, then that's a personal issue, not some sort of widespread epidemic that people should be saved from. Granted, anything in excess is unhealthy, but don't hold this exclusive to an online game simply because it affected you or someone you know in a negative way. If you personally lacked the self-control needed to stop playing a game or playing casually, do not assume that everyone else is of the same condition.

I commend your effort (albeit pointless) to stop people from playing. It's a personal decision to keep playing and everyone's personal decision to spend their days playing the game. I mean, you might as well go to every single MMO website and give them the same message. You could also visit every casino, every nightclub, or any other place of entertainment that might otherwise refrain people from enjoying life in some way that you personally see fit. The fact that this form of entertainment is virtual does not make it any more or less wasteful than some other hobby where investing time and money is a necessity.

Play the game, enjoy it. Don't be addicted to it and sit 3+ hours playing the game. There are many things you could be doing to improve your lifestyle instead of wasting all your free time in this game, which I may add is an awesome game with a crappy company behind it.

The time you spend playing this game, you could be learning something more useful. Eg. learn to play the guitar (this is gonna stick with a very long time; SRO? <-- is this even a question?). You could of done some volunteer hours in your field of study to improve your resume and thus get a better job in the future. Or do some sports, it will do you good, especially to your heart.

All in all, play the game but don't play too much. Anything 3+ hours, I'd say if a waste of time. But hey, who am I to tell you what to do, right?

Silkroad Online`s idea is one of the best on the market now. Maybe only Aion Online will be the best. I enjoy the game only 3 or so hours and not every day. We have our own national guild, nice union, we do trades and Unique runs. Yes, i buy prem and sp ticket, but my goal isnt 100FF
If my goal is that i already have done that. I am 78 gap 4 74 FF now. I play for fun and i even dont have to be top lvl. Why? Because in PvP there is only a few players that can beat me between lvl 78-84. Its quit simple to see who is botting or get pleveled and who will level by himself. The answer is - look set. If player really plays and enjoys the game he usually have sox set 100% blues (or very good set +5 with max blues). Why sox? Because you lvl very slow and you have to buy that set once per degree.
So what i want to say, is - stop complaining about sro. If you dont like, then dont play, if sro suxs, then play other game, if farming suxs, then be unfarmed or quit.

It's funny that every time I take a long break from SRO it proves to me that even though I am more active doing other stuff, when I do get home, I have nothing to do, because those hours that I am home, SRO entertained me and filled the gaps. ...did you read what he wrote? He said anyone who is still playing this game without botting or buying silk is pretty much an idiot. Which is his opinion, fine. In my opinion, he's an idiot for trying to tell other people what they should or should not find fun in a game.
