Ok so I play on Mercury server and I was on my wizard and everything was fine, but when I logged off and switched to my other character it disconnected after 5 minutes.

I thought it was just a one off, so logged him back on again. *Disconnects after 5 minutes*

Next day, again, and again...

Anyone else have this problem?
Is there anyway to fix it, or have the servers just been plain retareded lately?

Reinstall client and then post again if it doesnt solve the problem. I think it will.

its called u dced for a premium user just yor luck go buy prem

non-prem users often get that, its joymax' way of tellin u to buy a prem...

Why do you kids keep acting as if everything is just caused by Joymax's insatiable greed? Getting DCd to give way to a premium user, really? They keep kicking the same char? Over and over again?

kids? sry but i'm 22yo... and just don't say it's due to my client, cuz i try to play on 6 different pcs and same thing happens..

Can't be your internet connection, eh? Kid kid kiddy kid kid. It must be Joymax. I don't have premium right now and so do most of my friends. None of us get DCd a lot. How do you explain that?

Server is full 3500/3500 there is someone with premium wanting to get in, they log in and guess who that kicks? A person without premium.

Really? They make sure to never, never, never, never have a premium-user DC? And those non-premium users, once selected for kicking, are bound to DC frequently? Do you people even really believe what you're saying or you just want to hate on Joymax being greedy as much as possible?

It's called a business tactic, why wouldn't they? When I had premium before I used to never ever get dc'ed unless my internet connection was reset which rarely happened. I think you're about the only person defending JM.

You don't know and neither do I. At least not for sure. I just get annoyed when people state their conspiracy theories against Joymax as if they were actual facts, in a smug manner even.

My premium ran out just last week. Haven't bought yet as I'll be on vacation for two weeks within the next 28 days. No difference at all in my DC-ness. What's that called?

Naw, too many players would be pissed off if they can't buy gold. Joymax gives their clientele the game that they deserve. Barely 10% of the iSRO population are actual legits. Why cater to them?

I gotta back up the guys that are saying that a non-prem user gets dc'd when servers are full and a prem user wants to log in. I stall a lot overnight. I always used to get dc'd. I bought a prem on my char for the first time. Guess what??? I didn't dc once unless it was a server restart or an inspection.

maybe that's why the servers open up extra spaces as shown in rev6 (35xx/3500), letting in premiums while non-premiums get d/c.

supper true.....funny thing is ever since i got a premium on my one char that account and that server has been a lot easier to log into and i never dc unless its my internet's fault

Yea obviously. How else are the premium users going to guarantee a spot in the server? By kicking out the non prems, simple.

Sooooo.. the OP's other character is like the sacrificial lamb for the premium users? He keeps getting DC'd again and again. Even went on 'til the next day. What, that account is the only one with no premium in Mercury? Did he even say that he doesn't have premium on that character?

Try this:

Use a good registry cleaner, like cccleaner, and a good disk defragmenter, like defraggler. Both can be found on http://www.piriform.com/ . I run them every Monday after inspection time has started. My random disconnect errors have stopped.

I also use optinet http://www.sharewareconnection.com/optinet.htm which seems to help, plus it has a roll back option should it mess anything up.
