Ok, so i've been watching some youtube vids of job wars and such at 100 caps (and higher) and i noticed that a bow character can spam both knock back skills...i realize that bicheon/hueskal got some other power-ups also, but do YOU think bow is to overpowered since it can spam both knock back arrow combos?

I don't think so...because bow hasn't been a great PvP build like glaivers in 70/80 (pre-euro) caps, so its bowmen's turn to shine, while glaivers don't improve as much . And bladers are good enough w/ their KDs/debuffs with chains.

ya spam both kb and do no dmg? you cant kill anyone by spamming those 2 skills unless its like crit all 1 billion times then maybe

Lol? they hit maybe 8/9k a hit on the archer I play on and it doesn't even have 10d gear/acc...

Bowers pwned since the kb combo. Even more with the back to back kb.

and to the above posts bak 2 bak kb will be able 2 kill esp if the enermy uses skills like life turn over/dd and don't forgot the euro pot delay.

I'm not saying you would be able to kill...by using x2 knock back (in a 1v1 situation) you could just spam that while ur char re-pots back up..then hit 2-3 crits and a row and take down any build...

WRONG, and trust me bow can spam KB rouge to death i already tried with my bow 94 vs rouge 94 on troy in job lol. And another thing recently all i do is spam KB since its fun as hell, man i gotta tell u this probably the best cap ever in sro

Yes and no. Its a bit complex.
The double arrow knockback is a pure int killer. Against Chinese Ints, it gives the archer enough time to wait out snow shield if he isn't dealing enough damage or enough time to regain health.
Against Euro Pure Int such as wizards its extremely dangerous. I watched a guildmate of mine who is a level 96 archer pvp a level 95 wizards the other day. The wizard had no chance. The wizard tried to switch over to cleric to heal himself, but no luck. Blue pills fixed the fear status. In the end the wizard still lost.
The only builds in 1 vs 1 that will kill archers are pure str, str hybrids and warlocks.
I dont see any other pure int killing an archer in 1 vs 1.
Group pvp is a whole different story though. A Euro 8 man party dominates all in that area.

Over Powered. Let's break this down.

Over: More than necessary.

Power: Possession of controlling influence, or authority.

As far as Knockbacks are concerned, I would say there is more than necessary, they however, are not powerful. It is no different to a Snowshield user using a skill to better defend him or herself.

I'm 92 warrior/cleric and was just in a job war against a thief party of 4 archers. One or two of them were 94 and had both KB skills. The other two were spamming the 5 arrow combo. I was not even able to stand in place for a single second. I tried to cast Healing orbit and it got cancelled. I tried to go back into city and couldn't even walk. Jobbing, pvp and fw will be a pain in the ass if a few archers team up and just KB all day. Bow is not overpowered but it can give other builds a chance to come in and rape you while you're being knocked back off the face of the Earth.

Pure ints such as wizards can be killed by spamming the 2 KB combos. Nukers without mana shield can also be killed by spamming 2 combos followed by Anti devil or Strong bow. Rinse and repeat if they have better gear.

warrior cleric is still overpowered,
bow has only gotten 1 more skill advantage for knock back,
only int builds will shake in their boots

in most cases..yes..thats what im saying..BUT, depending on his gear and the archers gear and how each one of them played their chars

im just sayin that 1v1 straight up..bow would win 9 times out of 10. so i was just tellin him id like to see proof of the win.

well.. a warrior can already not lose to a chinese int, shield crush and heals until snow is out.. but that's just gay. same applies to bow imo, if they just spam KB for 2 minutes what's the point of even pvping them

old discussion. kb keeps enemy away but cant kill, its more def than offensive. any class or build is overpowered.

same here..my old account (before it got hacked) was one of the first STR BOW ever made on my server...and people kept telling me i was dumb b/c bow was only supposed to be hybrid..now look where STR BOW is...best chinese build by far imo

No. Bow is not overpowered. It doesn't have the most HP for a str chinese build *Like glavie*. It doesn't have the best defense *like blade*. It only has range. Which never really helps once people daredevil/phantom to you. So I think the addition of a KB is a good idea. It'll help bow chars out but they'll still be killable.

Noone complained about bows being so underpowered in 70-80 cap...
Most people who complain about overpowered chars probably have a glavier (considered one of the best in 80 cap) or a warrior/cler (considered on of the best at 80 cap) because they don't play for fun, they play for the "ahah, i beated u at a meaningless pvp fight that will make my life so much better"
So... Why bother with those ppls



Note: I used considered because I don't think there are really overpowered builds
