Hello fellows SRF's, Throughout my whole SRO experience i've always wondered which is the best build to go solo with the less flaws (low HP/MP, Weak, good damage but bad def, etc etc)

In my opinion i came to the conclusion it would be the full str glavier, but now i've noticed some Rogue/clerics do very well solo'ing and doesnt requires a insane amount of SP in comparison to the Glavier, but there comes the Hybrid int spear nuker which do very well also but it does requires a good amount of SP, so what would you pick?

Almost everyone on your list can solo.You cant compare rogue with a blader or a glaiver (they are made for solo grinding, tho rogue/cleric can solo grind too)

Yes but you can't compare how fast a rogue kills against a blader, im trying to find a build that can fast kill, doesnt requires much SP, and does very well alone as well as tank mobs of hes lvl. (im pretty sure theres one)

also this is focused on PvE not PvP so any suggestions will be appreciated.

Rogue/cleric, great damage, can tank giants 7~8 levels higher. The sp requirement isn't that unless you take daggers and cleric buffs.

Seems like Rogue/bard can do very well alone too, anyone with this build? how does it do at high lvl and low lvls?

you've got noise, champions are 2 hits so kill them whenever they spawn and they probably won't get a chance to touch you.. save your zerk for giants, throw up earth barrier and it'll die pretty fast
but with rogue / bard.. you could just turn off CE when a giant spawns and you'll be able tank it

Yes, i know is kinda hard, a wiz/bard requires 600k SP to get FF at 90 and is a good build.
The warrior/cleric is a very very good solo build but it doenst kills as fast as i want it to, and easily gets ks'd.

well u'll get ksed by any build that can 1hit mobs, even if you could 1hit mobs ^^ i'm warrior/cleric and i'm able to keep nukers/wizards off ma spot (turn rising ftw <3)

In my glaive experience...I can solo amazingly well, and with a good weapon grinding mobs even 10 levels higher is no problem. The only downside is heuskal mana costs, which make your 'session' shorter than it should be. It's really not big difference though, I still grind fast.

cheapest and fastest lvling build is a s/s pure int nuker with ice/light masteries. little sp required and can kill fast

including weap skills? i doubt it is cheap, FF to 90 lets say.. but still i will do some calculations and post results.

893k SP to 90 including weap skills, just the basics. no chains.
600k max is required for get a wiz/bard FF to 90 and its not a bad solo build.

I think rogue/bard is an awesome solo build. Only get crossbow passives and skills for rouge and only moving march, noise for bard, until you get high level. Then you can farm and slowly add the rest of the needed skills.

no, i meant just the 2 force masteries. why the hell would a pure int character need weapon skills, just stick with light nukes for grinding with ice and light buffs and you are good to go. you can 3 gap the whole game. i calculated it out, with lightning maxed and ice with buffs and snow shield, you only need around 650k sp to be ff for 100 cap. a 3 gap will be enough.

You would do that after you farm. Bard is an awesome sub for solo leveling, but if you have the right skills, you can be a str bard in parties.

Well, we can't left behind the STR bow which is an awesome build for solo but it does requires a decent amount of SP.. but i think it is well worth it.

Int Bow FTW for soloing? The sp required isn't that bad.. (compared to bicheon) You can just get explosion arrow, strongbow, and the buffs (get arrow combo for pvp)

I would say rogue bard. You can be FF at lvl 90 with 3 gap here and there, and it can solo really good. A friend of mine has that build, he made it lvl 90 for 4 months only playing his premium + every day. I don't like it personally because of the bolts you have to buy, but other than that it's the fastest to lvl up, good soloing and low SP requirments

there is no best solo build it depends what you want the build for (in the end)

EVERY build is a solo build. unless there are some strange reasons... every1 should solo grind and be prepared to solo grind and tank a party mob or giant at least.

imo any wiz is not that great at solo, yea level fast and 1 hit but can die very easily unless you have great gear.

best for just grinding (always what looks the best, but excluding that as well)

For the Chinese...Hybrid Bow..or Int Hybrid Nuker spear....I'm not a Euro fan So I don't know about Euro chars


Hybird Bow: Higher imbued damage plus range

Int Hybrid Spear: High enough damage with better survivability

in the hands of an experience legit player..

the chinese str bow is lethal..
KB? stun? high crit? high HP?
and most of all.. if you go 1 on 1 and you have spare set to change from robe to armor depending on the opponent you are dead deadly!

No it's not. A chinese nuker is faster, dot's take a long time to actually kill the mob. Nuke + lion shout is faster.

If you really want solo, go chinese - s/s int (light/ice) or str glaive. Choice #3 for chinese is str bow. If you want solo now with possibility of pty play down the road, euro is the way: wiz/bard or rogue/(bard or cleric sub). All are good solo players but can join in the euro ptys too. No one wants us stinky chinese these days lol.

No, it's not. A warlock can cast 1-2 DoTs on one mob, cast more on another one, nuke the next one, the first one is about to die when it's attacking the third one, then it's already killing a fourth, it then uses AoE, and so on. Warlock/bard would grind WAY faster than a chinese nuker who'd have to stop to nuke each monster it faces. Not to mention the warlock gets berserk at a insane speed.
