there are a very big difference between 18 < - > 20 ?

Difference in math usually means subtraction, therefore 20 - 18 = 2.
The difference is 2%.
Very big? Well.. I guess that depends on the player, I would pay much more for a br18 shield over a br16 one. And I would pay much much more for a br20 over a br18 one.

if your trying to say... should you try and get BR 20? then no keep 18 lol.

i think this topic is gonna turn into a maths game.

Not worth it to get it to 20 from 18. 18 is more than good enough.

On my first 85+7 shield I spent (literally, on premium plus) 140 tablets on it to try and get 18.

Never went over 16.

On my first 85+7 shield I spent (literally, on premium plus) 0 agility stones on it, because the master stone assimilated the BR from 10 --> 20 on the first stone. XD
but then I went around all of 90 cap with 22% whites and crit60.. str6 int4, butttt br20 still rapes.

Do not try to get a 100% white on anything, its almost impossible you may spend 1 bil and never get it. The only time you will get the 100% is when you least expect it aim for 80% if you want to pimp a white stat.

I have only made a single 100% white since i started playing, and that was my 85 sword (100%) crit 15

If you get 18 on the shield just leave agility stones alone now, unless its a SoX shield of course then keep trying to get 80%.

Even 80% is fairly high to aim for on whites. I normally aim for 61% and it's not because I don't have the gold. It's just way to easy to assimilate something and 80% is pretty damn rare.

Don't try to get br 20, you may never get it. A guildie had a shield with br 20, assimilated it with 10% STR stone.... that same night we used over 150 stones and it never got higher than 14 so... 18 br is pretty nice.
I had a shiled with 20 br once... bought it for 85 mil xD (lv 85 shield) and i sold it for 580 mil ^^ My shield then was with 18 br and i decided to take the money instead of using the 20 br one.

nope, dont really matter much, just a luck game, u probably wont feel any difference w/ a br 16 anyway...but br18 & w/ this mad rush for 10d gear, u mite as well just sell it...

it's just all luck anyway...unless u have a br10 or 12, maybe 14, u may feel like ur not blocking so much, but 16+, ur good

Don´t try to go over 18!
20 is a much better very hard to get

block rate is more important than shield defence when you are fighting multiple mobs:
negate alot of attacks.

but even a BR of 15 is sufficient

congratz... a bladers dream to get br 20+ (100%)

Sun shield is 24 block max.

And yeah aiming for 60% on most whites is quite possible without costing to much and 80%s things like crit parry and block.

I had Crit 100% and BR 100% at cap 90. Oh and it was +9 too. I think I got very lucky

no clue, iv never been sure about probabilities on gear, like brs and accs absorption.

i once made a glave at 80 cap 100% phy and mag got the mag by using the one for mag and the other one was when i was adding str almost pooped myself

the higher the br the better, its the most important stat on the whole shield..

if you can buy a sos, sosun isnt really worth it but its easier to get br 20 with a sos shield...

id be happy with 17, id make 18 on my last shield but wouldnt be really fussed about 19 or 20 really

I've never had 20 but 18 is more then enough
